Cold water splashed against Anne's leg sending a shiver down her spine as she trampled through the open ocean water, outstretching her arms in an attempt to hit the ball back over the net, just catching it in time before it hit the surface of the water. The ball flew over the net only to be countered by Marcy, who grinned as she watched Anne lunge forward in an attempt to catch the ball but fail miserably as her body surrendered to the icy cold water, instant freeze as she quickly got out of the water, "Can't handle the cold, Boonchuy?" She heard Sasha behind her, the blonde was lying on Anne's towel basking in the sun, sunbathing as she had called it.

"Why don't you go in?" Anne suggested as she walked over to Sasha, grabbing a water bottle from her bag, "And die of frost bite?",

"It's not that cold" she giggled as she took a sip from the large bottle, the water dripping down her chin as the numbness from the cold water set in, "Anne you're drooling all over me",

"Sorry Sash, you're just so insatiable" Anne smirked at the sudden creeping redness on Sasha's face, she quickly put her sunglasses over her eyes to attempt to hide her face "Whatever" she muttered.

Anne and Marcy went resumed their game while Sasha watched from the shore, cheering Marcy on just to annoy Anne "Go Mar-Mar!" the brunette would just roll her eyes and ignore the attempts to distract her. After a gratifying game, Anne ended up scoring the win, though unsurprising with her experience from playing tennis, "A kiss for the winner" Sasha tilted her head and placed a small kiss on Anne's cheek. The three girls sat down on the sand and basked in the sun, laying in comfortable silence next to one another.

"Anne" A small whisper of a familiar voice sounded in her mind

-

"Anne..." The voice began to sound impatient

-

-

-

"Anne!" It became louder, blocking out the voices of her friends, it was firm and intent, persistent on getting her attention, and that it did.

"Marcy?" Anne awoke to find she was no longer on the beach, her legs were not dipped in icy waters and the sun wasn't beating down on her, "Thank the lords you're okay, Sasha is acting crazy!" she sighed as she sat down next to her "I'm sorry, we shouldn't have split up" the guilt had obviously been eating at her and Sasha's concern was not helping, "it is not your fault!" She snapped, abruptly sitting up, the sudden movement causing her to collapse and slouch on Marcy's shoulder "How are you feeling?" the dark-haired girl asked "Like I got hit by a million buses" she exasperated, clutching her head as it throbbed with every movement, "I'll go grab Sash, Terri and Mr. X are also here" Marcy got up and helped Anne sit up comfortably, then left to go grab Sasha.

After a few seconds Sasha burst through the door, when she spotted Anne, she instantly ran over and practically jumped on top of her, wrapping her firm arms around her body and, planting pecks of kisses all over her face, "Don't scare me like that ever again!" she huffed, untangling her arms from around her body and held Anne's face, inspecting it closely "Are you feeling okay?" the brunette just giggled "Don't worry about me, I'm fine, just got a massive headache" ,

"Here" Sasha picked up a small box from the side table and passed it to Anne, it had Panadol tablets in it, she grabbed out the amount recommended and plopped them in.

"How long was I out?" Sasha hesitated before answering "Like, a day?" she guessed, "Just enough time to get the portal up and running!" She grinned,

"Wait, really?"
