"James? How do you know about James?" Laughing Jack asks, suspiciously. "I... uh, read your journal" I state. "You, WHAT!" Laughing Jack screamed. "How did you open it? It had a lock on it" Laughing Jack asks. "I picked the lock on your journal the same way, I picked the lock on the door to get out" I state, shrugging my shoulders. Laughing Jack nodded. "Did you read any of the newer pages?" Laughing Jack asked. "Um, No" I reply. "Good...I mean, it's just about how I formed this Circus and composed my act" Laughing Jack says. "Who is that? I saw it, but I never did ask." I state, pointing to the framed picture of the black and white clown girl with her face scribbled out.

"Oh, that... Well, that was Laughing Jill. She came in a jack in the box as well as me, and was given to a child named Mary. Jill was a friend of mine, I liked her a lot. I fell in love with her craziness and since we had the same color fade, I related to her. But, she rejected me, because we realized that we were made by the same maker, making us siblings. She also claimed to be lesbian. She's now dating someone named Jane. Laughing Jill always carried a chainsaw. And was much shorter than me, as she was like 6'2", I think." Laughing Jack explains. "6 foot, is short to you?" I ask. Laughing Jack laughed and looked down at me. "Ah, look at the time, the next show is in 5 minutes, I have to go, shorty" Laughing Jack says. "Don't call me that!" I state, grabbing my backpack by the bed.

"Ok, Gumdrop" Laughing Jack replied. "That's even worse." I say, as he gets ups. "I'll be back soon, buttercup" Laughing Jack states. "Ugh!" I sigh, annoyed from the nicknames, Laughing Jack giggles and walked out. I follow and head out the back door. I lean up against an empty Circus Peanuts stand, as I take my phone out to call my parents. "Hey mom, dad" I say. "(Y/n), You stayed the night there, are you okay?" Mom asks. "Yeah, I think this will be an interesting summer job. I'll be fine staying out here for another 3 months until summer ends" I state. "Are you sure? Where did you sleep?" Dad asks. "They have a 'guest' room under the stage, that has a bed" I reply.
"It's so much fun without you!" Carlee screams into the phone. "It is nice just having one daughter, again" Dad states. "Yeah, she was kinda a drag...Y-You forgot to hang up, stupid!" Mom says to dad, I hung up first. I sigh, is that really what they think about me, I thought. Maybe getting away from them is a good thing, I thought. Laughing Jack suddenly appeared in front of me, he was invisible the whole time and was listening to my conversation. "Man, your parents suck" Laughing Jack remarks. "Shut it" I growled, and stomped off. Laughing Jack teleported in a puff of black smoke. I decided to play some carnival games, and since I worked there the games I played was free. Sadly the food wasn't free though.
