The next day everyone woke up to the sound of a quill scraping against parchment.

'Ehh..?' They groaned sitting up.

'Sorry..' Hermione yawned.

'Get changed so we can go to my dorm then go downstairs. Chop chop!' She said going into the bathroom.

She brushed her teeth whilst the boys got changed and put their shoes on. Then they met and walked to the girls as she was still sat in her pyjamas.

'Wait here.' Hermione said as they stood outside of the dormitory door leading to the girl dorms.

She ran in and then closed the door.

'WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?' A voice shouted.

'SHE'S BEEN WITH THE BOYS HASEN'T SHE!' Another voice called.

'SHUT UP LAVENDER!!'Hermione shouted.

The boys eyes widened and looked at each others in shock.

'AY!IT'S TRUE THOUGH!'A voice came.

'GINNY SHUSH I AM GETTING CHANGED I DON'T NEED A DISCUSSION! LATER!' Hermione said.

'YOU CAN'T KEEP US WAITING!' Ginny shouted.

'WATCH ME!' She growled.

A bang came and Hermione sounded like she was stomping.

'WOW!YOU DIDN'T NEED TO HIT HER WITH A PILLOW!' Lavender laughed.

'Shut up then.' She hissed walking out.

'What just.. What happened?' Dean asked shaking his head as she joined them changed.

'Ah crap hold on..' She said rummaging through her bag.

'ACCIO HAIRBRUSH!' She said as a hairbrush hit Seamus in the face.

They laughed as she brushed her hair roughly.

'OWWWWW!' She said.

'What?' Neville asked.

'My hair hurts.. Don't look at me like that Harry I can't help my hair being a mess all the time!' She growled.

Harry tutted as they walked as she slowly left the pain behind her. They went into the great hall and sat down at the table and began eating. Hermione was just spreading her toast with marmalade when she heard a sadly familiar voice call her last name. Everyone turned around as she dropped her toast in shock. He made her jump and she turned around.

'Scared, Granger?' He asked smirking.

'Not at all, Malfoy.' She said cleaning up the mess she made on mistake.

'You look scared, Granger.' He said with his friends agreeing.

'You ruddy wish I was wouldn't you? So you could walk all over me like the last few years? Not. Any. More!' She smiled confidently to herself with the Gryffindors looking surprised.

'Oh! Sorry I didn't know you felt more confident with your friends around? Want to duel Granger? Tonight?' He hissed thinking she'd say no.

'Hum.. okay Ron's my second. Harry's my third. Take your pick and hurry up about it?' She said smiling widely as everyone's stunned faces.

'Sorry but who are you and what have you done to snitchy first year Hermione?' Ron muttered so Malfoy didn't hear.

'Oh uh.. Okay, Blaise your my second and Pansy your my third. Tonight in the class your friend Lupin taught in. 5pm. Be there or I'll tell the teacher to put you in detention for hexing me!' He said.
