The so called 'Home'

She knocked again. And again. She stared banging on the door now. She was getting flustered.

'HELLO?' She said.

'OI GRANGER! YAH FAMILY WENT OUT!' A kid shouted.

'Oh that's great.' She said.

The kid ran off and nobody was on the street now.

'Oh wait, the window is open, my family is so thick..' She said.

They climbed through the window and landed in the kitchen.

'Oh.' Ginny said.

'What a welcome back this is!' Hermione said.

'As nobody is here lets go into my room.' She said. They moved a mattress on the floor in Hermione's room and then they sat on the beds.

'Hermione?' Harry asked.

'Yes?' She said.

'Why are those kids so mean to you?' He asked her.

'That's just Simon, Alex, Thomas and Lacey really. You haven't seen the other side of it.' She said.

'What do you mean?' Ginny asked.

'Well really they only ever do it to me. I've been the same Hermione Jean Granger whenever I come home and I have never fit in. Because I am different.' She said.

'In what way?' Ginny asked.

'As I am the sort, as you know, that likes to read, I like adventures sometimes and I tend to stick to the rules. In their eyes I am a loner with no friends because they don't realise I am a witch do they? I won't tell anyone. My aunt doesn't even know. My mum and dad knew but I don't think they care. Because in everyone's eyes in the muggle world, I.Am.Nobody.' She smiled.

'Your NOT nobody!' Ron said hugging her.

'I am in the muggle world.' She said.

'Not in my eyes, Not in Ginny's, Not in Harry's, Not in dean's, Seamus or Nevilles eyes, Not in Luna's eyes, Not in the Professors eyes, Not in Gryffindor's eyes, Not in you own eyes either.' Ron smiled at her as she smiled back.

'I like being the nobody in the Muggle world.' She said shortly.

'Why?' Ginny gasped.

'Because.' She shrugged.'

'It means I don't have to tell anyone I am a witch and it means I don't have to get involved with the police at times. Don't ask them kids are the worst lot.' She smiled.

'Okay.' Harry said.

Hermione got up and toured the house.

'So this is my Living Room, This is the kitchen.' She said.

'My room, obviously.' She pointed at her door.

' Bathroom, Back garden, now lets go upstairs.' She said.

They walked up and she showed them more.

'Guest room, mainly my aunt and uncles along with my cousins, My parents room and the storage room.' She said.

'That's it.' She said as they walked back downstairs.

They all laughed and spoke about Hogwarts and the memories they had.

'I remember when we played wizard chess one Christmas and I won over and over.' Ron laughed.

'I also remember when I said it was Totally Barbaric.' Hermione said.
