“Y/N, TEACH US YOUR BREATHING STYLE!” sanzu is very consistent at pestering you, he started yesterday night right after you all got home. it was a mistake telling to them that it's possible for them to learn your breathing style

you don't have a tsuguko, you can't find anyone who'll fit for your breathing style. you tried scouting but they can't last long on your trainings so they'll back down. you didn't stopped them, you don't like people who easily back down

you're in the living room with the bonten executives except for takeomi and mochi, mikey sent them on a mission. they decided not to attend work for today because of the event that happened yesterday night, the encounter with two demons.

“it's not that easy, it took me 2 years to master my own breathing style. you also need a nichirin blade to perform any breathing style” you said, kaburamaru slithering on your arms

“huh, then where can we get a nichirin blade?” ran asked, he once wield a baton on his teenage days and up until now he's still using it but he relies more on gun now, maybe wielding a katana won't be that hard for him

“i can't tell the location. for i, myself, doesn't know where. the organization kept the swordsmith village location hidden. if anyone would know about their location, demons may attack them” you lied, any hashira knows their locations. if you're not a hashira, they will put blindfold on you so you won't be able to see the direction

“and one more thing, you can't have nichirin blade if you're not joining the demon slayer corps.” they sat there on silence, thinking what more can they do for you to teach them your breathing style

after they saw how cool is it and after you told them that it's possible for them to learn it, they become extra curious about your breathing style and now, they seriously wants to learn it

“then how could we join the corps?” rindou asked, scratching his head

“you need to train and join the final selection, if you're lucky enough to survive, then welcome to the organization” you doubt that they will actually join the corps, they already have a life, they should go with it. slaying demons is not for them

“final selection? what is that?” mikey ask, you noticed that his eyebags are not that deep and dark now, he also looks active now

“those who wants to join the corps will be sent to Mt. Fujikasane. the demons that we captured alive are imprisoned there, you need to survive on your own there for seven days. no food, no water but with demons. seven days because it will took you seven days to find the exit” they gulped at what they heard, it looks like it's impossible for them to join the organization

“how did you imprisoned demons there?” koko asked, one thing you like about him is he'll notice even small details as if he's calculating the situation

“wisteria flower. the exits of the mountain are surrounded by wisteria flowers, demons are afraid of that plant because it can kill them” with that, kokonoi noted that he'll ask someone to buy them a bunch of wisteria flower later

“Y/N, have you ever feared a demon too? or did you ever think of leaving the organization to live a normal life and settle down? or do you even have a plan to settle down?” silence enveloped the room after kakucho dropped those questions

have you ever feared a demon? yes. do you ever think of leaving the organization? no. do you have a plan on settling down and to have your own family? you don't know

“i am afraid of demons too before i joined the organization. my whole family got killed because of demon, ah, i survived with my one cousin. but she hates me, it was my fault that they got killed” they felt a lump on their throat after hearing that

“i almost got eaten too, lucky for me a hashira saved me. after that, i swore to join the organization to fight and kill demons. leaving the organization to have a normal life? even if i quit the organization, i could never have a normal life” you were born in a family of thieves and killers, that would be forever mark you, you can't escape that fact

“why not? if... if you want to leave that organization to live a normal life, you can go to us. we can help you” rindou himself is shock for his words, but he can't help but to say those right after he saw agony in your eyes

“i... i want to marry” they're shock to hear that from you, you look like a person that doesn't belive in love after all

“i want to marry and have a family on my own. but that can wait until we destroyed every demons, and that is if i'm still alive after that” you said emotionless, you're not afraid to die anyways

bonten executives can't explain but they felt a little fear when you said those words, are they afraid that you can die on your job?

they're criminals and their job is life and death too. but they know how powerful they are than their rivals, but you, you're fighting supernaturals without fear of dying. that just even raised their respect to you

“maybe in another life, i can live like a normal being should do. but in this lifetime, i already decided my faith, i am bound to kill demons. i will fight till death”

they looked at each other, sharing the same emotion of pity and sadness for you on their eyes. though they don't believe in another life, they're now hoping too that they will meet you there so they can watch you have normal life and maybe they can be part of your normal life.
