(Free time Event 1#) Y/N POV: "I wonder what Monokuma plans to do next. No, there is no point thinking about it. Anyway, I found a vacuum cleaner, so I have decided to use it at once." Despite only coming to her Ultimate Lab to talk, I ended up gawking at Kirumi's beautiful cleaning techniques. So as a thank you...I decided to give her a gift, I'm sure Kirumi would like a gift...right? "Even though I am here to serve you, I cannot believe I received such a great gift. The only way I can return the favor is to serve as your maid... Is that alright with you? Y/N, how can I help you?" Kirumi asked me. "Er...help me?" I muttered. "Give me any command. I will do anything for you." Kirumi told me. "A-Ah, I don't really have anything to ask you at the moment." I broke to Kirumi. "Why did you talk to me then?" Kirumi asked me. "W-Well, I just thought it would be nice if we could spend some time together. Is that okay?" I sweat dropped. "No, not at all. If that is what you wish for, then I will wait by your side forever. So, please do not hesitate and request anything." Kirumi reassured me. "A-Ah, it's not that I wanted you to wait on me. I just simply wanted to be with you for awhile." I said. "That is a rather vague request. What do you wish for me to do?" Kirumi asked me. "I-I already told you, I don't wish for you to do anything." I repeated. "Why did you call for me then?" Kirumi questioned. "O-Okay, how about this? Let's just talk." I said, getting more nervous by the second. "Would you like me to serve you by keeping you company?" Kirumi asked me. "S-Serve...?" I muttered. "Is that not what you wished for?" Kirumi questioned. This feels like it's becoming more complicated each minute. What do I say? Kirumi is a maid, so maybe that's why she's so insistent about this. I can't even think clearly, Kirumi is too serious. H-Hey, Kirumi. D-Didn't you chat with your classmates during lunch breaks or after school?" I asked her. "I had, somewhat. Why do you ask?" Kirumi questioned. "W-Well, because I would like to hang out with you in that way. F-For example, why don't I invite you to drink some tea in the dining hall?" I said. "Yes, that is fine. Then, let us go to the dining hall." Kirumi agreed. This is good, seems like she understands. Kirumi and I then quickly made our way to the dining hall. "Y/N, what would you like to drink? Tea or coffee?" Kirumi asked me. "T-Tea is fine." I responded. "Understood. I will go and prepare it. Please wait." Kirumi told me before quickly rushing off. "A-Ah! Hold on, Kirumi!" Ah...it's too late, she's already in the kitchen. I didn't want her to prepare tea by herself... I waited for a few minutes till I heard Kirumi's footsteps venture closer. "My apologies for making you wait. It is done." Kirumi said as she pushed a cart. On that cart was... "A-Ah! Wh-What is all of this!?" I questioned. "It is your afternoon tea." Kirumi responded nonchalauntly. As if I can't see that, no one's ever...done something like this for me, or at least did it good. on the cart as delectable sandwiches, cakes, and scones lined up on the cart... The tea smelled lovely that it made all the expensive tea that I had ever drank to shame. Did...she really prepare all of this in minutes? This...truly is the power of the Ultimate Maid. "Y/N, please sit here." Kirumi directed. "A-Ah, yes. Thank you...." I muttered, quickly sitting down. However I noticed Kirumi standing still, with perfect posture as always. "K-Kirumi? Aren't you going to sit?" I asked her. "But if I sit as well, then I cannot serve you." Kirumi told me. "I-I don't want you to serve me. Please, come sit." I argued. "I prepared this just for you. So, please." Kirumi said. "B-But..." I muttered. "Y/N, you commanded me to prepare you tea. And I intend to complete any requests given. Please enjoy this tea." Kirumi told me. "...O-Okay." I sighed. I guess there was no arguing with Kirumi. The tea, sandwiches, the scones, the cakes... They were really good that I couldn't help but feel guilty that I hadn't saved some to give to Kiyo later.
(Free time Event 2#) "You know, Y/N... You mentioned how you were knowledgeable on every subject... Have you ever read any novels about the Victorian era? If you don't mind, would you tell me which detectives from that era you admire most?" Kirumi asked me. Kirumi ended up having to listen to me rant on about detectives and the Victorian era in general for awhile, all the while till I heard Kirumi sigh. "A-Ah, Kirumi, is something the matter?" I asked the girl. "My apologies... It was rude to sigh in front of you..." Kirumi said. "N-No, It's okay... I know you didn't mean anything bad by it, please tell me what's bothering you." I told her. "That does make me feel better. To be honest, I am worried about something." Kirumi admitted. "What about?" I asked her. "Since a part of my memory is lost, I cannot remember it clearly... Perhaps...because I am trapped here, I have abandoned my master. From an employer's perspective, it would seem like I disappeared without a trace..." Kirumi pointed out. "I-I get that..." I sweat dropped. "Yes... To be unable to complete a request..." Kirumi said. I guess I wouldn't be surprised if Kirumi thought that as unforgivable. I suppose some people would depend on Kirumi to work. "I-I'm sure that your employer is very worried, not seeing you at work." I said. "That is true..." Kirumi muttered with a serious expression on her face. "Hey, Kirumi. If it's a-alright with you...could you tell me a little bit about your employer? I-I'm quite interested in hearing about what kind of work the Ultimate Maid has done in the past." I told her. "Since it is confidential, I cannot tell you much. But according to my memories... The last person I served was an author of light novels." Kirumi said. "He had so many ideas. But he was in turmoil because he could not write them all. So, I offered advice on writing quickly. After listening to me, he was able to publish a novel per month. He was quite grateful." Kirumi said. Only one per month? Though...I guess everyone has to startsomewhere. "Before him, I served a politician from a foreign country. I served as his maid, but I also acted as his mentor for Mahjong." Kirumi informed me. "A politician needed a mentor for Mahjong?" I muttered. "The country had a particular system. They decided everything with Mahjong. The person I served won against all his rivals and became the prime minister." Kirumi explained. "Th-That's...truly amazing, Kirumi... You're always with successful people." I awed. "I complete requests as a maid would do. Which is why... If I serve you, then you will be able to walk the same path of success." Kirumi told me. "E-Excuse me?" I muttered. "Y/N, I see potential in you... Similar to people I have served in the past, perhaps you are a diamond in the rough? If I support you, then maybe you can become more successful." Kirumi said. "I-I...have to decline. My fate has already been sealed. My entire life my father has been preparing me to become the best of the best, and once I have done that and I gain a fortune off of my librarian work...I will make a family...though, I-I would be lying if I said that is what I wanted." I admitted and after a few seconds...I slapped my hand over my mouth "A-Ah! I...I didn't mean to say that! Y-You... I-I'm so sorry Kirumi! How rude of me!" I apologized to the girl profusely. "Y/N, are you perhaps...scared of speaking against your father?" Kirumi asked me. "M-My father will always be scarier than the killing game we're in right now... I w-wouldn't dare to speak up against him." I said. "Y/N...you must learn to think for yourself, otherwise it will lead you to a life that you are not proud of." Kirumi told me. "Y-Yes...I'm aware." I sulked. Kirumi spent some time with me, trying to convince me that I shouldn't spend my life doing something that I don't want to do.
