according to the plan they'd devised earlier, chaewon waited for jisung in the courtyard by the vip entrance on the days where he had an extra class. so here she was, sitting and catching up on some of the work she'd missed. the goal was to sneak in through the exit that jisung would open with his pass right after him. simple enough.
chaewon couldn't help but be paranoid, though. what if someone noticed them? or what if she didn't noticed jisung passing by and he just left her? she was mostly sure he wouldn't do that. still, she kept glancing up before the clock could even complete a full minute.
after almost getting whiplash from the number of times she whipped up her head, she noticed jisung walking across the courtyard, glancing around and making sure to hold his stare a little longer on her than the rest of the place.
jisung stopped in front of the scanner to pull out his pass, giving chaewon enough time to catch up to him. as the girl pretended to drink water at a fountain a few feet away, jisung opened up the exit and passed through with what looked like a relaxed walk.
really, he was giving chaewon enough time to get through without the doors shutting. a second later he felt the girl hop next to him, halting her fast pace. she smiled up at him, which he reciprocated.
"how was your day, jisung?"
"holy shit bro, the teachers were like gushing according to chenle. i don't know if i should be flattered or weirded out that middle aged teachers are acting like that. and my lunch was disgusting."
"where did you eat?"
"i have a feeling chenle purposefully took me to the school cafeteria because he knew it was bad."
"i'm surprised chenle and i never bumped into each other before. actually wait, now that i think about it i've seen him with your other dummies or whatever."
"dreamies?" jisung laughed a bit, but that went unnoticed by chaewon since they were entering the car.
"yeah yeah that's what all the fangirls say. "oh my god yeonieeee! look at my jisungieee~ he's with the dreamies i can't believe i met him- yeonie, stop looking at him he's mine!" is deadass what i heard all day."
"that was spot on. hmm, do you have experience acting like that?" jisung smirked hearing chaewon scoff.
"never was, never will be one of those fangirls. literally never in this lifetime of the next. wait no not unless we're talking about jungkook."
"you're so mean, choosing jungkook over me."
"not my problem," chaewon shrugged, but couldn't stop her giggle right after.
a similar routine continued in the days following, the pair only seeing each other before and after school. luckily for them, they never got caught and successfully made it in and out of the campus every time.
