chaewon's daily alarm interrupted the silence in her room, making her groan in annoyance as usual. as she was about to reach over to shut it off, chaewon realized she was unable to move.
she reluctantly opened her eyes, and at first all she could see was spots in the air. with her vision adjusted to the sunlight pouring in through the windows, she was able to see a sleeping jisung with his arms wrapped around her.
ignoring the heat rising in her cheeks, chaewon nudged the boy, who opened his eyes almost immediately.
"you're finally up," jisung said in a low, scratchy voice, his arms staying in place. chaewon tried moving to turn off her alarm, but before she could manage to do so jisung had reached an arm over, doing it for her.
"y-you're awake, let's go."
"did you just stutter?" jisung smirked.
"no."
"five more minutes." jisung tightened his grip around the girl and shut his eyes before she could tell him otherwise.
those five minutes turned into the couple dozing off for an additional thirty, and now they were rushing so jisung could make it to his first class.
"tell me if uh... jae-hee? whatever her name is, bothers you again, okay?" chaewon nodded in response, just remembering the whole situation. she leaned up to give jisung a kiss on the cheek before walking away to enter first, just as she usually did. that kiss would be a first time thing, though.
"people are gonna kill me in there..." the girl grumbled lowly, digging through her bag for the entry pass. before she could walk up to the scanner, a tall body cut her off. when she looked up and saw jisung, her annoyed scowl wiped off from her face to be replaced by a confused one.
"what are you doing?!" chaewon was whisper yelling for no apparent reason, which jisung found cute.
"we can walk in together." jisung grabbed chaewon's wrist and scanned the card to open the door. "jooah already made sure everyone knows we're acquainted."
"bu-" chaewon stopped her protest once jisung had already pushed her through the door. she was shocked at the number of eyes that could fall on you the second you walked through a door. the only one she didn't mind was chenle, who was walking alongside the pair a few seconds later.
he tossed his arm around chaewon's shoulder, about to start a conversation with her only for it to be lifted by a scowling jisung. "OH MY GOD WAIT- okay, okay i'll be quiet," chenle removed his best friend's hand from his mouth and pointed subtly at the couple in front of him. "what happened here?"
two sheepish grins were the only answers he got, the area being too crowded for a verbal confession. the oldest immediately pulled out his phone, rapidly sending texts. at the same time his own vibrating device, clicking the new notifications from the dream groupchat.
