Chapter 10 - The Final Fight

(Athena's POV )

I'm with Hades, Ares, Farther, Hermes, Apollo and Artemis as bait. The other team is Hera, Poseidon, Demeter, and Hestia. The others chose to stay back with the demi gods as a last line if this fails. This can't fail as there is little Greek fire left. Here it comes.

(Hestia POV)

Let's End this. We are set and ready to fire. Poseidon is ready to hold it back if we need it. I'm ready to light it on fire. Both Hera and Demeter are ready to set the catapult off. Its just about waiting now.

(No One's POV)

The monster Ran at Zeus. Zeus uses wind to push him over the monster as Hades and Artemis shoot arrows at it. Artemis, Ares and Hermes are ready with swords. Zeus uses that time and distraction and heads to the other group. The five left counted as it took slow in painful steps at them. It was hurt form when Poseidon dropped the sealing on it. So if this didn't work Physical damage would so they had now got a plan B. They started towards the second group leading the monster right into a trap. it was slow going.

The monster got closer and saw what the where going to do and tried to attack the group closet to it. The monster didn't get close to the group as chains of ice stopped it. Hades looks at Poseidon and sees that both hands are raised keeping the monster from hurting them.

Poseidon: Don't Think So. Let's End this.

Hestia set the ball on fire and then the other two fired it at the monster and the bait group ran towards them. Zeus stood by Poseidon with his mast bolt in hand.

(Hades POV)

Trying to think which of my brothers look scarier. Zeus looking calm with his master bolt or Poseidon holding back something stronger than anything we have dealt with in the past with ease and not breaking a sweat. Being away from them you can forget that they are strong and don't need the help they used to.

(No One's POV)

It takes an hour for the monster to fall. For the hour Poseidon manged to keep it from moving which took lot of energy as he was having to replace the chains constantly.

(Hera POV)

Its over. It's finally over. Poseidon sits on the floor.

Poseidon: Someone else can clean up.

I look at the mess including the one we have to deal with now. The Greek Fire. I'm trying to figure out where would be best to get rid of it but Hades seems to be dealing with it.

(Hades POV)

The River of lost souls as I transport it to said location. The soul will end up there if I send the body. The most permanent prison for it we have. Its never coming back. That was a mistake that I am not making again. At least I'm closer to my sibling that i have been for a while. Maybe a Year of this may not be a bad thing. It may be what we need.
