~Loser's Perspective~Loser's eyes shot open, he was alone, locked inside a blueish walled clammy room. It was cold as ice, and the floor felt rough and painted over. His memory was fuzzy, and he couldn't see much. Where was he? What did he last remember. Oh...
"Leafy's letter..." Loser muttered. He pushed himself off the damp floor. He slowly shuffled towards the door, and gripped the handle. Wherever he was, it was the way out.
He shoved the door open, and humid air blasted him in the face. He shut his eyes and sighed. And a nice warm inhale in. A great contrast from the cold room. Now, to find a map or person.
He slowly exited the room, and began to walk. His feet felt nice on the concrete path, and he turned around to check the room he was in. Towel Return. That made a bit of sense. That would mean... he's at the resort!
Loser perused around the resort, there was a large pool area, and waning hotel buildings. It seemed to be built just for them. Loser thought back to the letter Leafy sent. What did he mean by 'the silent type'? Was he peculiarly quiet during his experience with Lesafy? Seems more like a Rocky or Teardrop thing.
The rest of the resort was fairly standard, the lack of people was understandable, he just woke up first. There was a snack bar, a casino, 6 different restaurants, robot servants, it was a whole square mile of paradise.
Huh, sounds familiar.
Eventually he started to hear pounding sounds behind him. As if somebody was running.
"Heyo! Loser!" A high pitched voice yelled towards him, followed by another.
"We've been, like, looking for other people for, like, an hour!" And another.
"Yweah! It's loike we haven't found a single soil!" A childish voice with a thick accent continued. Loser turned to look and saw Match, Pencil, and Bubble walking towards him.
"Oh, hey guys." Loser smiled in his raspy voice. The three finished their walk and finished their approach.
"Well if it isn't, like, Loser." Match grinned, "Me and the rest of the, like, alliance just, like, gravitated towards each other. So we didn't need to go looking very long."
"That's great. I hope to see more of you guys during the trip." Loser replied, and turned around to keep looking around.
"Hey, Loiser? Did yoiur card incoirrectly categorize yoiu?" Bubble asked, "It said I was... levoil 1 of noiceness. It went down!" Bubble sniffed in, and wobbled a bit.
"I'm sure you're not all bad, Leafy has notoriously high standards for niceness." Loser pat Bubble's shoulder, "But I was categorized as the silent type, when I talk quite frequently."
"Huh, that's, like, uber weird. What do you think Pence Pence? I was called a geek, but that can't be, like, right." Match added, turning to Pencil.
"I was called the Betrayed and Betrayer, so if that means much. Not much of a complement." Pencil replied. Loser scrunched his eyebrows together.
"Leafy might be remembering something we aren't. I'll keep looking, why don't we exchange phone numbers so we don't lose each other?" Loser suggested, and reached for a phone, but instead pulled out a small DS shaped object. He flipped it open to reveal a keyboard and several other people. 12, and Match, Pencil, and Bubble were already there.
"Huh? That's weird." Loser scrolled around to find some of the LOSERS. Needle, Pin, and Coiny were all going to be here. That's good, and it jogged his memory for other people that were going to be there.
"Ahh, good. Well, I'll see you three later." Loser shut the device and headed off, the Freesmarts also took their leave. Loser had a whole vacation ahead of him, and he finally felt truly free.
~Teardrop's Perspective~
Teardrop awoke in a small room, it smelled of baked honey and cardboard. She felt slightly cramped, and stood up. It was pitch black, and she felt her way inside the room. Around 3 feet wide and deep. Indiscernibly tall. She felt the walls. Itchy, and painted over. As if somebody tried painting wood. Almost all three walls felt the same, before she touched aluminum plastic.
She pushed into it, and recognized it as cookies. She was in a cupboard. Finally she felt a doorknob and pushed open the cupboard to find herself inside a cold room with large floor to ceiling windows and a large front desk. It smelled like dry chlorine. Which didn't smell like much.
She looked around a bit before assessing that she was at the resort Leafy promised, how she was there didn't concern her. Stuff like this had happened before, it's not that crazy. She exited the front desk and began to wander about.
She didn't have to walk far though, before a drainage pipe burst open and out emerged Taco. She fell onto the floor in front of Teardrop, surprising her for a few seconds.
"Huh? Oh, hey Teardrop. Have any idea where we're at?" Taco asked standing up, "It's super hot out, what is this?" Taco looked around, before Teardrop shrugged.
"Oh right, you can't talk. That's a shame." Taco pulled out the DS shaped object and fiddled with it for a few seconds, "Hmm. Well, there are some Have-Cots on here."
Teardrop cringed, it was a serious while since she had been on BFB. Hearing the words 'Have-Cots' reminded her of a hundred things she hated.
"Might as well call some people up." Taco walked away, and Teardrop sighed. This was going to take a lot of getting used to, especially the older contestants.
