I walked down the street gritting my teeth my hands tightened into fist. I don't know why I'm feeling like this. It was necessary, I had to. It was for the greater good of the plan. But for the first time in my life I was feeling... Guilt?

Yes guilt.

I felt guilty.

I hurt her. Left bruises on that beautiful face of hers. Her neck was all kinds of hideous colors and it was all my doing.

I did that to her.

I shook my head trying to erase these conflicting thoughts. I couldn't be thinking like this. It wasn't apart of the plan. Everything in my life always revolved around the plan.

I turned the corner and spotted him leaned against Kris's red sports car. Kris was right beside him. Those two were always inseparable. I told leader he should watch them closely. But as much as he trusted and cared for me he had a strong affection for Tao also and didn't want to contemplate any deception coming from him.

I stopped before them and Tao winked.

"Hay pet."

I scowled. They all called me leaders little pet behind my back but Tao was the only one who dared say it to my face. "Shut up. What do you want? I'm busy."

It was Tao's turn to scowl. "Yeah busy..." He looked up he street towards where his and Miny's apartment building was located. "Today was a close call." He said when he focused on me again. "Your getting sloppy... You almost killed her. You know that's not allowed."

"Yet." I said running my fingers through my hair. I was frustrated and edgy. "What were you doing there anyways?" I asked genuinely curious.

He shrugged carelessly. "I followed you and Minzy when you guys left the apartment this morning. When you both ended up getting calls and left I decided to follow her."

"And why where you following her?" I asked not sure if I would like the answer. The way Tao watched her. It wasn't good and I really didn't like it.

"None of your business." He replied flippantly.

I arched my eyebrow. "It wouldn't be wise to fall for her. It won't work. Were on opposite sides of this battle." I told him. Needing the reminder for myself as well as him. And that pissed me off. One girl shouldn't be getting to me like this. She shouldn't be getting in the way of the plan. I couldn't allow it, wouldn't allow it.

Tao scoffed. "Maybe you should remember that to. You weren't even supposed to make contact with her. I was." He said possessively.

That angered me. What right did he have to sound as if he owned her? As if she was his? "I met her purely by chance. At the hospital when her sister was sick. We already made contact. We kept in contact. She obviously likes me." I said confidently trying to taunt him.

Tao's whole body tensed. "If it weren't for you the vice president would have died on the scene when I shot him and then there would have been no need for the leader to order me to get close to her anyways." He seethed.

My anger was rising as well. I considered that day a failure. I didn't like failure.

"I had to kill that north Korean guy and make it look like a suicide so they would believe he was the assassin. I didn't know she would see me. Its not like I could have refused to help her."

"Yeah you could of. Its not like you would have seen her again."

I started to counter his words when I stopped. He was right. I could have ignored her. I could've kept walking. The fact is I didn't want to. Even though I didn't really know her and she didn't know me. I didn't want her to think bad of me. So I helped her, when it wasn't apart of the plan.

And look where that ended up. Me having to go back and kill the vice president anyways, along with officer shin. An unforseen casualty. Feeling annoyed at Tao because he was right I lashed out.

"If you had of never dropped that information the first time you came into contact with her at that warehouse they would have no clue. We wouldn't be involved with 2ne1 until it was time for us to make our move. Your the one who made us have to change up the plan."

Tao glanced away. "Mistakes happen."

Kris clapped his hands together three times. "Well standing here listening to you two play the blame game and have a pissing contest over the girl has been fun.. But we need to get down to business." He said.

I turned my gaze on him and and frowned. I forgot we were supposed to discuss something.

"Your the one who wanted to get him to meet us so what's up?" Tao asked Kris.

Kris smiled. That was unusual. He rarely smiled. He was always pensive like the weight of the world rested on his shoulders. I don't know how he got into this work because he had too much compassion sometimes. I've noticed many times on jobs he hesitated to kill. Usually if it was a child or woman. I never hesitate. I do what needs to be done.

"The girl. Cl. She's suspicious of me. She's been following me around watching me. Today she made it seem like we bumped into each other and then forced me out to lunch with her." He chuckled. "It was more of an interrogation than lunch."

He grew serious now. No longer smiling or laughing he said. "She's smart and she's determined. We shouldn't underestimate her. She could figure everything out."

I started to pace. "So maybe I should talk to leader about killing her." I said. Maybe it would be best to get her out of the way now.

Kris straightened instantly. "No!" He shouted.

I looked at him strangely. What was going on with him?

"That's not a good idea. These girls are strong, smart and resourceful. If we killed their leader it would only anger them and make them more determined to discover who we are." He said.

I nodded. I could see the logic in that. Revenge was a powerful motivator. I knew that better than most.

"They will begin looking into Lay's background. Mines too." Kris said. "They will find a connection between me, Lay, Tao, You, Chen and Xuimin."

"So we bury your records. They won't find anything on me." I said confidently.

"We only need to get rid of mines and Lay. We are the only link they have to be suspicious of." He said.

"Get Chen to handle it. He's the computer expert. And where has Xuimin been?" I asked.

Tao shrugged. "Leaders got him working on something. I'm surprised you don't know what it is. Doesn't he tell you everything?"

I ignored him talking to Kris. "I've gotta go. I was supposed to be getting food."

I threw one last smirk at Tao before walking away.

"Sehun." He called out before I got to far away. I stopped listening but I didn't turn around.

"You better not touch her." I could here the strain in his voice. It was killing him to think of me alone with Minzy. I liked that idea. I continued walking away without replying.

I would do what I pleased. And it just so happens it pleases me to touch her.
