Minzy wasn't answering any of my calls or texts. I growled in anger. The stupid girl was going to get herself killed.

"Follow me." I instructed my girls and the remaining swat members. That one guy, Chen, was a pretty dam good accurate shot. We got out into the hallway and there were two possible roots they could have gone. "You five that way. Dara, Bom, with me."

We went right while the rest of them went left. We walked down the hall and once again there were two possible directions. I sighed. I didn't want to leave Dara on her own. She was too fragile still and really angry. I didn't trust her to not go rogue. "Bom, Dara, go that way. I got this direction." I watched them dissapear down the hall before I began walking down the long suspended walkway that led to another section. I raised my gun before pushing open the door.

There infront of me stood Kris. He was facing away from me looking at Xiumin and Chen. They both had guns drawn. I was surprised and confused. I had convinced myself that Kris was one of them most likely their leader but if that was true why would they be trying to kill him?

Kris turned around and when he saw me standing there his eyes went wide and his mouth opened like he was about to say something but without any time to react Chen began shooting. In the blink of an eye Kris lunged forward and enveloped me into his arms.

The momentum of his body sent me falling back out of the door and onto the walkway. The sound of the roaring water almost outdrowned the sounds of gunfire. Kris stood and slammed the metal door closed and then leaned his forehead against it. The back of his white shirt was soaked with blood.

"I've been shot way too many times today." I heard him mumble.

"What the hell did you do that for?" I asked angrily. I was irrationaly pissed. "Why the fuck would you risk your life for me?" I shouted.

He chuckled. "A normal girl would thank me."

"Well guesse what. I'm not a normal girl."

"That's for sure." He said turning to face me hiding his back. How he could smile so wickedly when had to be in pain was unbelievable.

The door rattled and I could hear someone thud against it. In that instant I had forgot about the guys on the other side trying to kill us.

"Get out of here." He said turning towards the door hand on the knob. He pulled a gun from the waistband of his pants.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"They'll give up soon if they can't get in. Right now they're focused on killing me because I betrayed them, but soon they'll cut their losses and choose escape. If they do that they'll run right into your little friend Minzy who went after Suho, she'll be outnumbered. So get out of here while I keep them occupied."

Kris actually seemed to be helping us but in the same breath he had admitted to working witht the enemy. But that didn't matter. I had to stay. If they sucedded in killing him they would head straight for where Minzy was and I couldn't let anything happen to her.

"You don't know me. I don't run and hide. I stay and fight."

He closed his eyes and sighed. "I was afraid you would say something like that. Get ready then."

"Wait." I called before he could pull the handle. He turned to look at me eyebrows arched looking impatient. "Pull the door open and get behind it. I'll shoot as I pull back, that'll force atleast one of them to step forward and you can take them out point blank."

He looked at me with a sparkle in his eye. "Good plan. Smart."

I smirked. "I know."

He let go of the handle and stood behind it as I backed up. As soon as he let go the door burst open and I began firing rapidly. I could see Xiumin and he was in the lead shooting his gun. He wasn't as good a shot as Chen. One of my bullets made contact with his neck and he used one hand to grasp the wound as he kept shooting. I continued to back up and I was a better long range shot than Xiumin. Another of my bullets hit him in the head and he dropped to the ground. I stopped moving gun still trained at the door.

Where was Chen? Was he inside waiting? Or had he left already?

I stepped forward and Kris stepped out from behind the door and two shots rang out. Chen was there the whole time standing there in the darkness waiting for movement. I heard his body thud to the ground and then Kris stumbled backwards. He turned sideways to look at me his hand clutching his chest. Blood poured out from between his fingers. He was shot.

Again.

His eyes stayed trained on me as he stumbled back once more his back hitting the railing. I sprang forward arms strteched out.

Everything after that seemed to be in slow motion.

I was hyper aware of everything. The clank of the gun as it dropped onto the metal walkway. The air against my face as I reached out. His fingertips brushing mines right before he tumbled over the railing. I gasped. Grasping the railing I looked over but all I saw was the dark night and the sound of the water below.

Kris was gone. Dead. He had to be.
