I blinked my eyes open to the sound of clanking and twitching. I looked at Skrap-it rolling almost into the ocean and then the ocean's waves pushing him back. I was way at the back of the beach. Why did we have to move near water? I absolutely hated getting wet. I shivered at the thought of getting the salt in between my gears. The scrap-head didn't seem to mind it though;he was still fast asleep. I yawned and closed my eyes again, but the sound of the moving waves haunted my ears. I sighed and decided to wake the scraptool up. My tail bolts were feeling a bit loose anyway.

"Skrap-it!" I roared after I grabbed him by the tail and brought him further away from the water. "Wake up!"

"Huh?-twitch!-Oh, hello D-Structs!" he exclaimed in delight.

I growled at him and glared at him in the eyes. "Fix my tail bolts!"

After he tightened the bolts, I grabbed some ore and ate my breakfast. I ate it far away from the water and looked at the deep jungle. It's better than the ocean.

We soon found a large tree with a big burrow dug under it. I cleared out some more room and put the extra ore to the corner. The roots of the tree were still hanging down and covering my face. It annoyed me, but not as much as the salty-ness of the sea.

"This is where we'll be staying from now on. Get used to it." I told Skrap-it as I cleared away more rocks.

Skrap-it sighed. "I miss our, scratch that, your lair back in the crater."

I growled at him and got back to digging through the wall. But to tell the truth, I wasn't really enjoying this either. Maybe living with Ty would have been a better option...No. I don't share. That was the motto that kept me alive so far, and it'll be the motto that'll keep me alive now. I'm a t-trux, I live for danger and adventure. By myself. Maybe with a scraptool.

That night, I was so tired from digging out the cave I fell asleep almost instantly. My sleep was deep and dreamless.

The next day, I went to get some more ore since I only found a little bit yesterday. I found a lot of ore and used a strange net I found on the beach. I dragged it with my claw. I growled at some trux on the way.

"Oh, man, there goes that t-trux." I heard a craneousaur say on the way.

"I heard he used to live next to a lava pool." another said.

"Oh please," said a dozeratops, joining the conversation. "I'm not scared of that freak."

I stopped. That was a new word. I was kinda hurt. I shook my head and got back to reality. I drove back to the cave, I was gonna need to make it a lot bigger if I was ever going to take over this place.
