El's POV:
It was nearing the end of summer. Only a month left of it. So me and the rest of the party were enjoying our time before school started. School. School. I didn't know how to feel about school. Mike told me it's where you learn and get an education, although, I have no idea what the word education means.
Mike and me were spending some time together. We were at the cabin, with no Hopper, alone. And we were watching a movie.
It was a nice quiet evening. With nothing wrong. Although, I held on to Mike tight. I can't shake the feeling something bad was going to happen and end up with a fight.
Mike's POV:
Me and El were at her house watching ET in the living room. It was the first time El had ever seen it and she loved it. She thought ET was "Cute". She also called me cute yesterday, after she found out what the word meant. I don't know if it's a compliment to be called what ET was called, but it doesn't matter because whatever El says to me is true.
This is my 500th time watching ET and I am getting bored. VERY bored. I looked at El snuggled against me, sucked into the movie. "El?" I asked. " Ya?" She said looking up at me. As soon as she looked up, I took the opportunity. I pressed my lips against hers and felt warmth spread through me. I wanted to keep going but she broke away. " Mike, " She started, " What if Hopper comes home? He said no kissing..." " Okay, okay" I say back. " I just can't help myself. You're so beautiful El." She blushes. I grab her chin and pull her mouth in to meet mine.
Again I feel warmth spread through me. Only she can make me feel like this, so alive. She finally gives in and melts into the kiss.
El's POV:
Mike deepens the kiss. We keep kissing for maybe 10 more minutes. And them we hear the door open. " Wheeler get away from my daughter!!" Hopper yells at Mike. We both jump away from each other. " Leave now Mike!" He says and Mike runs out the door. " You're in big trouble." He says to me.
