Stranger Things: Mileven Moments

Hogwarts Houses

Hi guys, so this isn't exactly a Mileven one-shot, I just thought it would be fun to do the sorting ceremony ( From HP ) for the ST characters. If you don't read or watch HP you can just skip this.

Third person:

All the nervous first year were fidgeting outside the great hall. This was the moment they'd find out where they belong in Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Are they loyal and kind? Intelligent and knowledgeable? Cunning and determined? Or courageous and carefree? This was when they'd find out who they are.

The doors opened and they filed in the Great hall, looking in awe at the floating candles and what appeared to be the night sky above them. They looked at students as they passed by them, wondering who they would soon join.

McGonagall started to call names. It was time.

Dustin's POV:

"Dustin Henderson "

I heard my name being called. I walked up to the stool and sat down. I hope I get the house who knows where the pudding is. The hat lowers on my head and starts speaking to me.

"Hmmm, It is a pretty clear choice." The hat says.

"You are loyal to your friends and kind to everyone. You always have a smile on your face. I declare you HUFFLEPUFF!!"

The table with yellow and black banners erupts in cheers. I stand up and head over there, high-fiving Mike, Lucas, Will, El, Tate, and Max as they move further up the line.

El's POV :

"Jane Hopper"

I'm next. I turn my attention from congratulating Dustin to walking to the stool. I sit down and await my destiny to be determined. The hat starts speaking at once.

"Right away I see you are very strong and courageous,  but you also have a bit of a temper. You could fit two houses, but you can only be in one. Shall I make you slytherin or gryffindor?"

Please please please don't put me in slytherin, I think to myself. What if Mike hates me if I'm put in slytherin?

"I see you want to be in gryffindor? You could do so well in slytherin though. Not all slytherins are evil....oh well - GRYFFINDOR!!"

I jump up and head to the correct table. Mike gives me a hug on the way. "I knew you were a Gryffindor, but no matter what house you are in, you'll always be my friend." He says to me.

I beam at him. I don't think I could be more happy.

Max's POV:

"Maxine Mayfield "

I hear my name but it takes me a second because I'm used to being called Max. I head up to the chair and sit down. The hat drops on my head and whispers to me.

"Well, well well. Quite a temper. I think the answers clear with this one"

I just roll my eyes. I was already expecting Slytherin so just say it stupid hat!

"Wow, easy" He says in protest

Oops, I forgot he can hear my thoughts.

"Well then, - SLYTHERIN!!"

I hope off the stool and walk towards the green and gray table. I don't care what stereotypes people give slytherin.  Ill show them we aren't all evil.

Mike's POV:

"Michael Wheeler"

Oh no. I'm not ready. I'm afraid I won't be put in the same house as El. Would El not be my friend then? I walk up to the stool and sit down nervously.

"Hmmm, the answers pretty clear" the hat says.

Please not slytherin or hufflepuff or ravenclaw.

"Calm down! The clear answer was already GRYFFINDOR!!!!"

I smile as I hop off the stool and run to where El's sitting. "I knew you were a true Gryffindor Mike!" She says to me, smiling.

I don't know what I'd do without her.

Lucas' POV :

"Lucas Sinclair "

I look at the hat. I won't let it intimidate me. I walk up to the chair confidently and sit down. As soon as the hat touches my head it gives me a house.

"This is easy!!! GRYFFINDOR!!"
The hat shouts out.

Mike at El move to make room for as Will and Tate congratulate me as they go forward. I know I'll try to be the best  and live up to my potential.

I'm a Gryffindor and no one can stop me.

Tate's POV:

"Tate Harrington "

I let out breath I didn't know I was holding in. I walk up and sit down. I don't know what house I'll be in, but I hope I belong.

"Hmm. Smart, ambitious and brave. Some may think your a Gryffindor,  but I know better - SLYTHERIN!!!"

I jump up and walk towards Max and the other slytherins. Will hugs me on my way over there. "Good job Tate" He says.I smile.

I finally belong somewhere.

Will's POV:

"William Buyers"

I walk up to the stage. I know whatever I get my friends will still like me. But I'm still nervous. I sit down and let the hat take over.

"Kind and caring. Always loyal. It's an obvious choice.  And you are correct, your friends will be your friends no matter what. HUFFLEPUFF!!!!!"

I walk over to Dustin and sit down next to him. "Good job!" He says to me. "You too!" I reply. I look over to the slytherin table and see Tate smiling at me.  "Good job, hufflepuff!" She mouthed.

This is going to be a good year.
