After a day and a half of suffering, Jungkook had finally stopped throwing up and started to feel normal. The minute he got the strength, he had showered and then decided to follow you around. You were quite pleased because the clingy bunny that you adored was back. As you did chores and cooked, he hugged you tightly. Everyone seemed quite relieved at the sight of the two of you being so close. Everyone except Taehyung.
The feline hybrid was not happy at the fact that his time with you was being taken away by the younger hybrid. It happened when he finally got comfortable enough to push him limits too. The timing couldn't have been worse for Taehyung.
"Noona, you smell too good today," Jungkook mentioned while hugging you tightly in the hallway of the house.
"Hey, it's my turn," Taehyung suddenly walked by and tried to squeeze in between the both of you.
"Taehyung!" you cried out.
"What? No! Hey! Mates first," Jungkook pushed the feline hybrid away.
"You're not a mate! We're on equal grounds," Taehyung argued.
"I'm going to be a mate! I'm on the list, right Y/N?"
"You're not a mate yet so move," the feline hybrid tried to squeeze in again, but Jungkook pulled you away. Taehyung scowled and his tail flicked around in annoyance, "Listen bunny, I'm a big cat. You do not want to piss me off. It's my turn, now give me Y/N,"
"I don't care how big of a cat you are! Yoongi hyung is a big cat too."
"So? You're gonna get someone else to fight your battle? Like a little baby? You're gonna run away again?" Taehyung provoked the young hybrid. Jungkook's fist clenched and he got ready to jump on the feline hybrid to duke it out.
"Taehyung, that's enough," you finally stepped in, "What has gotten into you?"
"He's not being fair!" Taehyung complained while crossing his arms. His usual cute and innocent demeanor shifted to a dark and predatorial one. Taehyung the baby had turned to the demon lord you once thought he was.
You didn't know when or how it happened but Taehyung had gotten too attached to you these days. It was weird because he started out avoiding you and now he was acting like he was part of the pack.
"Taehyung, I'm sorry but right now, Jungkook and I are spending time together. We can hang out later."
"He's been following you around all day!"
"Okay, why don't we set a special time for you then? Maybe around three in the afternoon. How does that sound?" you suggested, trying to keep the peace. Jungkook wasn't at all happy that you were trying to appease the feline. It didn't matter if Jungkook followed you around all day and hogged you because he's a mate (or at least would be). Taehyung was temporary and meant nothing. You didn't need to give in to him at all and yet you were kind enough to do so.
Taehyung frowned and his ears twitched, "Fine. Three! If you're still around, rabbit...make sure you're not."
"Tae!" you wanted to scold him but he had already sauntered away in anger. You looked at Jungkook in confusion. The bunny poked his inner cheek and annoyance.
"That guy has a lot of nerve," Jungkook commented while wrapping you in his arms once more, "Why'd you give in to him like that?"
"I'm sure he's being like this because he misses his family. I feel bad for him," you half lied. You did feel bad for him but you also kind of enjoyed the way he purred against you. For some reason when Taehyung cuddled and purred you were transported back into your childhood home with your hybrids. It was a happy nostalgic feeling that you couldn't get enough of.
