Chapter 43

The waking of Sun Kyun brought some much needed peace to the house. Soon the older hybrid had transferred to the safe house. He surprisingly bounced back quicky in a matter of days. His full recovery was celebrated by a large dinner cooked by both Jin and Yoongi. Sun Kyun turned out to be a very patient and understanding man full of wisdom. It was clear where Namjoon had gotten all of his admirable traits from.

Your wolf mate wouldn't stop smiling the minute dinner started. He was just so elated that his old pack was safe, complete, and with him. It was also at the dinner when Sun Kyun had told everyone outside his pack what happened after Namjoon split from them. Your wolf mate, bravely called the attention of the people after them to lead them away from his pack. Apparently, they had tried leaving a scent trail for the wolf, but since Namjoon had been taken far away from where they initially parted, he never found the trail.

After dinner, Jungkook left to fetch the dessert you made for the table from the kitchen. He was more than happy to, so he could get away from Taehyung. It wasn't that the feline hybrid did anything to anger the bunny, but recently Jungkook had been having an explicit dreams about him. It started after Taehyung had pinned the bunny down on the ground while playing pirate king. Ever since then, Jungkook found it hard being around the feline without getting somewhat aroused. Luckily enough for the bunny, Taehyung had been avoiding him. But the dinner put them in a position where they had to be around each other.

"Jungkook," Taehyung caught the bunny's attention with a deep, low voice. The bunny jumped and immediately turned around finding the feline hybrid close to his face.

"T-Tae!"

Taehyung tilted his head, "You've been really jumpy around me lately, bunny. Is something wrong?"

Jungkook stepped back and pressed his body against the counter while gripping it. His eyes darted back and forth before concentrating on the floor, "Of course not! I just uhm...You know... the new people in the house and new scents are a little overwhelming,"

"Whatever,"  Taehyung stepped closer to Jungkook making the bunny gulp. As Jungkook looked up, his eyes got caught by Taehyung's dominating gaze. Every muscle in his body tensed up. Most of his dreams started this way. Jungkook half expected the feline hybrid to grab him and kiss him roughly while digging his hands in the bunny's hair. Jungkook leaned in, but Taehyung stepped to the side instead,

"Seriously dude, what's wrong with you?" Taehyung grabbed the cake directly behind Jungkook, "We've been waiting for like ten minutes and you're just standing there."

Jungkook blushed and completely stepped away from the feline and scolded himself. Stupid, stupid bunny.

As Taehyung slowly walked away with his food, Jungkook blurted out, "Hyung are you mad at me?"

Taehyung turned and looked at Jungkook oddly, "For this? No," 

Jungkook stepped forward, "What about for something else?"

"No," Taehyung said and with a flick of his tail walked back into the dining room where Jungkook quickly followed.

"Is everything okay?" you had asked as Taehyung put the cake down on the table. Jin immediately stood up and began cutting it and distributing pieces.

"Yeah, Jungkook just spaced out. Your bunny might be sick or something." Taehyung sat down and crossed his arms.

"Oh? Jungkook, are you feeling bad?" Jieun looked at the bunny who rushed to his seat and hid his face in Yoongi's shoulder.

"I'm fine," the bunny muttered while Yoongi slowly placed his hand on Jungkook's forehead.

"He doesn't have a fever,"
