Chapter 50

Jungkook slowly dragged his feet on the floor of the forest while he rubbed his eyes, trying to stay awake. They had been walking, non stop for two days trying to find the Wooga pack. Namjoon insisted that, according to his math, they should be bumping into the pack soon. As exhausted as the bunny was, he knew he couldn't complain because if he did, Namjoon and Jimin would never let him hear the end of it. And he would never be invited to do anything ever again. But that still didn't keep him from feeling tired and becoming sluggish. Soon his legs gave in, causing Jungkook to stumble forward and trip.

Jungkook landed with a thud and for a moment he just laid there. His body was quite pleased that they were laying down for once. Jungkook tried to will his limbs to move but they refused to listen so he just laid there. The bunny sighed and just closed his eyes, if his hyungs were just going to leave him behind, he might as well get some good sleep out of it.

But his hyungs didn't leave him. Jimin, in his fox form, scurried to Jungkook and nudged the bunny's face trying to get him to move. The two older hybrids had decided to shift into their animal forms since they could use their noses better to track down the pack. Since Jungkook refused to hop after them in a small body, he stayed human.

"I can't...too tired...just leave me here..." Jungkook flipped onto his back making Jimin lick his face. The bunny hybrid started giggling and squeaking until he heard a huff. Jungkook shut up immediately and moved his head to see Namjoon's wolf form looking impatient. Jimin walked towards the wolf with his ears flat against his head and his tail tucked between his legs. But Jimin didn't know about puppy privilege.

"Hyung... I'm tiiired!" Jungkook whined and crawled to the wolf as well, "can't we take a nap? At this rate we'll fall asleep and be knocked out for three days. Then we'll really miss the Wooga pack and our only chance to take Taehyung back."

The bunny laid on his back and started fake crying, trying to trigger puppy privilege. Namjoon began to pace back and forth slowly. It looked like he was at least trying to consider Jungkook's suggestion. Jimin immediately laid by Jungkook on his back as well and started whining. Namjoon let out an annoyed grunt before giving in and laying next to his wards.

"Yes! Thank you hyung!" Jungkook hugged the wolf and scratched his ears. The wolf only tugged on Jungkook's shirt. Jungkook quickly discarded and folded his clothes before shifting into a bunny. He then hopped towards the two canine hybrids and squeezed himself between them before quickly falling asleep due to fatigue.

As much as Namjoon wanted to sleep, he couldn't really fall into a deep slumber. Half his mind stayed awake just in case a threat came. The wolf's ears twitched intermittently at every shake of a tree branch and suspicious blow of the mind. His mind however was so tired that when he started hearing crunching of leaves, it didn't register as anything to him. It wasn't until the sound was accompanied by a scent that Namjoon's body shot up.

The wolf immediately nudged the fox while rolling the bunny underneath Jimin. The fox's eyes slowly blinked open although they were too heavy to stay all the way open.

"Woah, woah, don't panic," a figure of a man slowly approached them making Namjoon bare his teeth.

Two days had passed and you still hadn't talked to Yoongi. If the cougar hybrid didn't appreciate that you were a human, then you would deprive him of a human mate. You stayed in the nest room for most of the day or locked yourself up in the office to avoiding the cougar. You had also refused to eat anything he made or have dinner around him. You were usually forgiving, but this latest outburst was just something you couldn't let go of.

"You have to talk to him at some point," Jin told you while kissing your shoulder. He had once again ended up under the covers with you while trying to coax you out of your little burrito blanket.
