EDITED
Following the lead of her grandfather, Johanna Argent caught the attention of the press covering Kate Argent's funeral. A glare was etched on the girl's face as she looked at those who obsessed over her mother's death. Her eyes snapped over to Matt Daehler, who snuck around the gates to get a closer shot of her cousin. The annoyance on her face struck fear into the boy as she snatched the camera out of his hand. The teenager's fearful face soon turned to annoyance, but Gerard grinned at his bitter granddaughter and took the camera from her hands. "This looks expensive." Gerard Argent inspected the large camera as the press looked shocked and jealous of the teenager's proximity. "Yeah, it's 900 bucks." Matt narrowed his eyes, fearing for his object's safety.
"How expensive is this?" Gerard crushed the SD card in his hand before handing the camera back over. Johanna watched the boy take off, falling behind Gerard who now moved towards his son's family. "Christopher." Gerard greeted his son with a hug. "Gerard." Chris stiffly greeted his father back with a hug. Johanna remained stiff and kept her distance from the family as Gerard made his rounds. "Josie." Chris acknowledged the young girl, giving a small smile. Johanna gave a weak smile of her own back at the man. "Whose she?" Stiles stared at the girl as he and Scott hid behind a nearby statue. "Johanna, Allison told me about her once. She's Kate's daughter, but Gerard practically raised her." Scott kept his focus on Allison. "Great, another psychotic Argent." Stiles mumbled in annoyance.
"Do you remember me?" Gerard Argent turned to Allison, who looked fearful but nodded quietly. Johanna noticed the girl glance behind a statue towards the woods, almost as if begging for comfort. Gerard noticed the girls' gaze as well, following the dirty blonde's eye line. However, it seemed only Johanna caught sight of the dark-haired werewolf and his best friend. "Considering I haven't seen you since you were three, I don't suppose I can assume you'd call me grandpa." Gerard tried to lighten the mood, gaining a small and forced smile from the brunette. "So if it's comfortable, call me Gerard for the time being, but I prefer grandpa." Gerard offered before taking his seat and Johanna glared at the old man's entitlement.
"Take a seat please, Johanna." Gerard patted for the girl to join his side. Johanna obliged, but kept looking at her cousin, who continued to glance into the tree line. "Hey, you know maybe they're just here for the funeral." Stiles suggested to Scott hopeful, but not even believing his own words. "I mean, what if they're the non-hunting side of the family? There could be nonhunting Argents, that's possible right?" Stiles continued to look at Scott hopeful. "I know what they are, they're reinforcements." Scott rejected the idea before both boys were snatched by the Sheriff.
Night had fallen over Beacon Hills and Johanna found herself in the woods, awaiting a werewolf to fall into her trap. To her fortune one quickly did, however, she was still awaiting her grandfather as backup. Johanna's eyes narrowed as she recognized the werewolf as the same one from the funeral, trying to save the tied-up beta. Johanna went to move from her space behind the tree, but another werewolf yanked the boy away first. Derek Hale made contact with the Argent as he pulled Scott away just in time to miss her dagger. "What are you doing? I can help him!" Scott with Derek as he yanked him down behind a tree. "They're already here." Derek shut down the idea, but Scott kept arguing. "Quiet!" Derek tried to keep the beta safe and hidden.
Johanna walked up to the beta intrigued as it snarled at her. "Josie!" Chris worried as he and Gerard's men walked up. "Relax, I'm fine." the girl rolled her eyes at the man before backing away. Two men took Johanna's place and began circling the beta themselves. Chris walked towards it with his baton, electrocuting the beta. The beta screamed and transformed back to his human form. "Who are you?" Chris interrogated the werewolf. "What are you doing here?" Chris met the silence with more questions. "Nothing, nothing, I swear." the man cowered away from Chris.
