Hours later, long after the sun went in, the school bus pulled into a deserted parking lot of an extremely sketchy motel. "I've seen worse." Scott tried to be optimistic as the group was the last to exit the bus. "Where have you seen worse?" Stiles questioned before Coach blew his whistle at everyone. "Hmm, reminds me of the motel I was born at." Johanna mused to Allison and Lydia as they stayed hidden in the back. Allison simply shook her head at the dirty blonde while Lydia looked appalled. "Oh, so your mother was always psychotic." Lydia made a snide comment. "Just remember, not as psychotic as my grandfather. If I knew my father, maybe I would have daddy issues too." Johanna smirked at Lydia, who laughed and shook her head. "Someone is feeling better." Lydia commented, wiggling her eyebrows. Johanna shook her head, the sleep did make her feel better, but she knew Lydia was commenting about who she slept on.

"Listen up, the meet's been pushed until tomorrow. This is the closest motel with the greatest number of vacancies and least bit of good judgment when it comes to accepting a bunch of degenerates like yourselves. You'll be paring up, choose wisely." Coach informed the students as he held 20 or so hotel room keys. "And I'll have no sexual perversions perpetrated by you little deviants, got that? Keep your dirty little ands to your dirty little selves!" Coach yelled as most of the teens took a motel key. Stiles and Scott grabbed two keys, one for themselves and one for the girls. "Give me that." Johanna snatched the key from Stiles' hands as they started walking to the motel, causing him to scoff. "Lydia." Allison looked back when the strawberry blonde didn't follow. "I don't like this place." Lydia's eyes glazed over. "I don't think the people who own this place like this place, it's just for a night." Allison laughed off Lydia's concern. "A lot can happen in one night." Lydia spoke mostly to herself, but Johanna and Allison heard her.

Allison was in the shower when Johanna got a text from her uncle. 'Derek's alive.', Johanna's eyes widened when she read it. Johanna looked up from her phone and over at Lydia, who was staring blankly at the wall again. "Hey, I'm going to go find Stiles." Johanna told Lydia, hesitating before leaving when she got no response. Johanna walked down the rotting stairs to the floor that Stiles and Scott were on. Johanna heard the sound of glass breaking from across the courtyard and rushed over. Johanna passed a spaced-out Boyd and turned the corner to see Stiles standing next to a now broken vending machine, a look of pure shock on his face. "Uh, was that Boyd?" Johanna pointed to the broken vending machine. "Uhuh." Stiles muttered as he blinked and turned toward Johanna. "Interesting." the dirty blonde mused, taking note of the very small selection of food that was now exposed.

"I was looking for you." Johana carefully stuck her hand through the opening and began pulling out snacks from the vending machine. Stiles just looked at the dirty blonde with a raised eyebrow. "Don't judge me." Johanna shrugged. "Fuck it." Stiles shook his head and put his hand in the vending machine to take snacks too. Unfortunately, Stiles was clumsy and ended up slicing his arm on part of the glass. Stiles hissed and Johanna looked at the boy in annoyance. "That's a lot of blood." Stiles then looked down at his arm as it began to bleed a bit too much. "You're afraid of blood?" Johanna looked at the boy with a raised eyebrow. "I'm not particularly a fan of it." Stiles started, dropping his snack to cover the cut. "Give me your shirt." Johanna rolled her eyes, motioning for Stiles to take off his shirt. "What? Why?" Stiles' eyes widened. "Because you need something to stop the bleeding and I'm not taking mine off, it's expensive." Johanna told him plainly. "Fair." Stiles quickly pulled off his shirt and handed it to the girl. Johanna hummed, mildly impressed with the boy's body, before taking his arm and putting pressure on the wound. "Hold this." Joahnna instructed, taking his hand and putting it on the shirt covered cut. "Keep pressure." Johanna instructed as she reached down to get the snack he dropped. "Wha-" Stiles watched the girl pick up the snack, annoyed that she was prioritizing them right now. "There's probably a first aid kit in your room, let's go." Johanna began walking away, urging Stiles to follow. Stiles blinked in annoyance at the girl before following her and taking charge.
