Rowan Freemaker sat crossed-legged. In front of him, laid a giant pile of parts. He closed his eyes and focused on what he wanted to build. He pictured the Star Scavenger 2. He stretched out his hands. When Rowan opened his eyes, he saw a mini model of his family's ship levitating in front of him, it looked exactly like it. Luke smiled at him. "You're getting so much better."

Rowan sighed as he placed the model down. Luke's smile faded. "What's wrong, Rowan?"

"I just....miss them." Rowan stood up, staring up at the puffy white cloud above his head, which he swore resembled Roger.

Luke nodded. "I know you do, Rowan. But you know that Jedi cannot have attachments like that. Do you remember what happened to Vader?"

"I know, but I don't want to be a Jedi if I never see my family again....." Rowan walked away.

Luke was not surprised by this. The affection that Rowan felt for his family was simply too strong to be pushed aside for anything, even being a Jedi as Rowan had aspired to be. Luke knew that in the end, he would choose not to continue practicing his force-building skills. The boy did manage to last 2 long years, and since then he has improved much more. Perhaps it was time for Rowan to see his family again. In the end, it was all his choice. Becoming a full-fledged Jedi, or reuniting with his family. Luke ran to catch up with Rowan. He knew what would help cheer him up.

"Come with me." Luke motioned for Rowan to follow.

Rowan's curiosity ended up outweighing his bad mood as he followed Luke to his x-wing. The two of them hopped inside of the X-Wing and departed from the beautiful unnamed planet Rowan had spent so long on. He wasn't sure if he'd ever come back.

Rowan and Luke landed on a dark misty planet. If it had a name, Luke didn't say. Through the force, Rowan could tell that bad things had happened here. He stepped out of the x-wing and eagerly walked into the fog. There stood a large city, flashing themes of silver and black. What attracted Rowan's attention the most though, was what lurked seemingly in the shadow of the city. There was a little village that Rowan could tell once was full of laughter and happiness, but now of mystery and dread. It was then that he understood why Luke had brought him to this forgotten planet. Luke stepped next to Rowan. "This city was built by the Empire a long time ago. After they slaughtered that little village over there, that is."

Horrible visions flashed through Rowan's mind, too horrible to describe.

"You want me to help rebuild this place...." Rowan stared at the town.

"You've come a long way from where you were, Rowan." Luke began walking in the other direction, toward the city, as Rowan walked towards the town.

Rowan took a deep breath. First, he brought all the remaining parts of the village to where he stood. He then pictured what he had seen in his visions. Small huts made of wood, similar to the first homes that were ever created, but with a far more impressive interior. The interior was small, but it made room for everything a person would need, and more. These huts also all had secret basements, which uses varied from a bomb shelter to a weapons training room, to a daycare for children. The Empire must have not liked how these people had so many secrets and decided to wipe them out, even though they seemingly had no interest in interfering with the Empire or the Rebel Alliance. Hut after hut, Rowan rebuilt the village. As the last pieces came together, Rowan opened his eyes. He stared in awe. The village looked exactly as it had in his visions. Rowan whirled around and saw Luke, with a large group of people behind him, the few villagers that escaped the Empire's massacre. Those people fell to their knees in happy tears. A large smile spread across Rowan's face. As the people rushed into the village, Luke touched Rowan's shoulder. "You're going to do great things, Rowan."
