Chapter 11: Rescue

I just stared back at him in shock. Was it that obvious?!

He immediately noticed the change in my face and also looked shocked.

"It's mine, right?" He had the face of someone who was in charge now.

"No." I sternly replied although I knew it was his.

"Let's go to the hospital right now." He started pulling me towards his car and I fought back, but then I gave up because I did not want to attract any attention to us.

After arriving, we signed in and I went into a room to discuss with a gynecologist alone. My nerves were going crazy and she gently performed a sonogram.

"Wow...I'm surprised you recognized that you were pregnant so quickly. It has only been two weeks."

I could not believe it. This meant that I could not be pregnant with Taecyeon's baby, but I was pregnant with Woohyun's baby. I was in love with Woohyun and I wanted it to be a boy that looked just like him. But then I thought of how Woohyun probably was not interested in having a baby right now or maybe not even with me for that matter. And Taecyeon was still in the waiting room trying to blackmail me.

After the gynecologist was done and told me that everything was fine with me, I walked into the waiting room feeling dazed. Manager Lee and Woohyun were waiting for me and Taecyeon was clutching his nose with a bloody towel. What had happened?!

Manager Lee saw me and immediately began explaining. "You always run out without telling me stuff and never answer your phone so I added a GPS tracker. When I realized where you were going, I decided to call Woohyun and ask him what was up, but he was just as confused as I was. We both arrived at the same time five minutes ago and he ended up punching Taecyeon in the nose. The nurses and receptionist were about to call the police, but I politely explained the situation and my sister happens to be a doctor here so she helped us out."

I looked to Woohyun and he had an indecipherable face. "It's yours. I'm sorry."

He suddenly smiled and shouted, "WHAT?! I'M GOING TO BE A FATHER?! That's crazy awesome!"

I could not believe how well he was taking this all and I was elated, but freaked out as well.

Over time, everything was worked out and things returned to normal...or somewhat normal. Manager Lee made sure that Taecyeon got rid of all of our dating history in return for not charging him with blackmail. Woohyun asked me to marry him and I said yes although it was sudden. We made the announcement to fans and the media together. He held my hand through everything and our saesang fans tried to kill us, but it was okay because they were put in jail. Our wedding was perfect even though I was two months pregnant and it was planned in only a month.  Only my mother, aunt, and a few friends came from my side while Woohyun's huge family and lots of his friends came. My abusive father did not want to come, but I guess that was for the best. I was finally done with my abusive relationships.

My mother had always been busy with work and not particularly supportive of me, but she was better than nothing. I just felt blessed that my aunt had been good friends with my company's President and helped me escape the abuse of my father. My new life with Woohyun was more than I could have ever imagined. His family was a little awkward with me at first, but they quickly warmed up to me and I felt loved.

Two years have happily passed and Woohyun is still in Infinite although fans love him as a brother figure now. I took a break from acting to take care of our adorable son, Woojin, whose name is derived from his father's name.  He looks exactly like Woohyun and can already walk around though a bit unsteadily. When Woojin is being adored by his paternal grandparents, I work a few hours during the week with Woohyun's older brother Boo Hyun, at his popular BBQ restaurant, 먹&삼생고기집, located in Suyu, Seoul. My life is peaceful and ordinary, but I absolutely love it. I am finally happy because I am just so loved. This is the story of a girl who dealt with a difficult family life and a nasty relationship, but she was able to find happiness in the end.
