Project and Family

Genesis's POV
I woke up to my music playing. I danced along and got dressed I brushed my curls, got dressed in jeans, a black tank top, a light blue leather jacket, and black boots. I grabbed my backpack and walked downstairs made a bagel and a small glass of orange juice I finished eating and heard a knock. "I'll get it." I said and saw Jasper standing there. "Ready to go?" He asked. "Yeah." I said and he led me to a motorcycle. "Ever ridden one before?" Jasper asked. "My dad believes they are killing machines." I said. "Only in the wrong hands." He said. I got on putting the helmet on and he drove me I held on tightly even though he felt colder than when I use my cyrokinesis. We soon got to a huge house made of mostly glass and wood. "It's beautiful." I said. We walked inside and I saw a beautiful woman fixing up everything. "Um Mom." Jasper said and the lady looked at me. "Oh hi I'm Esme, Jasper's adopted mom." She said. "Nice to meet you ma'am, you have a lovely home." I said. "Oh none of that ma'am, it's Esme." Esme said, wow this woman was so nice. A man walked down and he looked like a damn movie star. "Oh you must be Genesis Swan. Jasper hasn't stopped talking about you." He said. "You must be Dr. Cullen my father speaks very highly of you." I said. "It's Carlisle outside of work." He said shaking my hand, he was cold like Jasper and also they all had gold eyes, Carlisle and Jasper I could understand since they are uncle and nephew, but they all have gold eyes which is very unique eye color. Jasper and I went upstairs and and we walked in his bedroom and I saw he had a king sized bed, a couch, a record player, records, antique guns lining the wall, and two bookcases that were full of books. "Let's work on the project first." I said. "Okay." He said. I took my notebook out and Jasper took out history books. "Wow those look old." I said. "Yeah, they've been in my family for generations." He said and we both read and I took notes and also had a script going on. He was reading it. "Writing it like a love story." He said. "I was thinking how hard it was for women having their husbands go off to war." I said. "Sorry for bothering, Genesis are you hungry?" Esme asked. "Actually yeah, guess I never noticed." I said. "Well I made pasta." Esme said. "Go I'll set up to help you with Trig." Jasper said. I followed Esme and she was so sweet and everything I dreamed about in a mother, I was telling her about when Bella almost fell down a well. "And you saved her, you would've been younger, how did you pull her out?" Esme asked. "There was a rope." I said and Esme gave me a plate of pasta and meatballs.

I was eating, I wonder if she'll give me her recipe this is better than anything Bella or I've made. "Gen!" I looked and Alice hugged me I laughed. "Hi Alice, it's good to see you." I said and I closed my eyes getting a vision of Alice being besties with Bella and I. "You are a good friend." I said. "Um thanks." Alice said awkwardly. I finished eating and I put my dish in the sink. I went back upstairs and saw Jasper standing there with a marker, a whiteboard, trig books, and notebooks. I sat down on the couch and Jasper wrote a problem on the board. I tried it and showed it to Jasper. "That's correct." He said. We continued and had fun doing problems he kept cracking jokes and laughing. "Who is here!" I heard a yell. "Genesis, her and Jasper are hanging out." I heard Carlisle say. "Who is PMSing?" I asked. "Edward." Jasper sighed. We walked downstairs and I saw Edward glaring at me. "Hi Edward." I said and he continued to glare, okay what did Bella do to piss him off so much. "I'll take you home." Jasper said and I got my stuff and said goodbye to Alice, Carlisle, and Esme as Jasper drove me home on the motorcycle. "I had fun." I said. "Same I usually don't invite people over to my house." He said. "Now I feel special." I joked. "Have good rest of your day ma'am." He said in his accent being thick. "Bye." I said and walked in and saw Bella reading a book. "How was Jasper's?" Bella asked. "Nice, I met his family Edward is feeling better." I said. "Great." Bella said. "Did you do anything than just lazing around all day?" I asked sitting next to her on the couch. "No, I cleaned up, did laundry, and went to the library." Bella said. "Did you get a library card?" I asked. "There were no good books, Port Angeles probably has a good bookstore but the gas mileage." Bella shuddered. "True to that Bells." I said. We laughed and I showed her some more magic making her smile. "So did you and Jasper bond?" Bella asked. "Bella, I just met his parents and we did schoolwork." I said. "So I noticed you staring at them strangely." Bella said. "So I just wondered why they all had gold eyes." I said shrugging. "It is a good wondering thing that could be addressed." Bella said as I made pillows float around us. "My magic is getting stronger." I said. "That's good right." Bella said confused. "Yeah but makes me wonder if any other powers will pop up." I said. "If you do get another one, don't surprise me with it again." Bella said. "Geez you gain the power to see the future once." I said and we both laughed. Dad came home and I offered to cook dinner. "Sounds great Genny." Dad said. I made some burgers, fries, and broccoli with cheese on top. "Dinner." I called. They walked in and Bella smiled knowing I bought ten pound bag of beef and split it up for different things like burgers, meatloaf, and meatballs. We started eating. "I remember when all Bella wanted to eat was ice cream so we made breakfast flavored ice cream." Dad said. "We still make it during the hot summers." I said. "Yeah." Bella said. "I missed you two girls, I'm happy you both are here." Dad said. "Thanks Dad." We both said smiling.
Jasper's POV
I was ready to punch Edward for scaring my mate and the others were looking at us. "Edward maybe you are happy being single, or you are asexual but I actually like having mate." I said.  "She's human she's gonna get hurt." Edward said. "Not necessarily, my vision of Gen are just a bit blurry that I can make out her features." Alice said. "See she might not be fully human." I said. "That proves nothing." Edward said. "Dude your mate is also your blood singer and you're scared of hurting her." Leo said. "So I'll keep my distance." Edward said. "Edward that won't work, I've seen it Bella and Gen are going to be part of this family." Alice said. "You should always trust Alice and her visions." Leo said. "Fine, I'll try to get know Bella." Edward said. "He's definitely going to just piss her off more." Emmett said. "Agreed, but the humans better not spill our secret." Rosalie said rolling her eyes. "I don't think Genesis would." I said thinking of my beautiful mate.
Genesis's POV
I woke up to my phone ringing. "Who calls this early on a weekend, I saw it was Phil I answered it. "Hey Phil." I said. "Hey Genesis how's Forks you and Bella doing good?" He asked, Phil and I got along okay and could talk. "Yeah I'm doing okay and Bella has some friends and I made a few." I said. "That's good, Renee was worried due to it being junior year and half way through." Phil said. "She had no need to worry." I said and Phil had to go, so I hung up. I walked into the kitchen and saw Dad left for work and Bella was sleeping in, I was craving breakfast ice cream I found the ingredients and froze them quickly with cyrokinesis. I was able to make banana ice cream with nuts. I got some scoops and put the extra in the freezer.

I sat at the table and ate it while scrolling through social media. "Ice cream?" Bella asked. "It's banana there's extra in the freezer." I said. "I'll keep that in mind." Bella said getting toast. I ate my ice cream not caring. "So Bells think of what you are going to tell Edward tomorrow?" I asked. "Just that I wondered what I did to piss him off." Bella said. "Okay, so that's nice for me calling him a PMSing man." I said and Bella laughed knowing I would call someone that. "So Phil says hi." I said. "It's good to know that he wonders if we are doing okay." Bella said. "It is." I said. We hung out as I showed Bella funny videos and we both did homework. "Think I can survive off of cliff notes of Wuthering Heights again?" I asked. "It's a good book." Bella said. "Coming from the girl who doesn't like dystopian books." I said. "Not true I like Harry Potter." Bella defended. "That's fantasy, dystopian is future." I said. "Fine." Bella said. I laughed and read some more, honestly I wanted character development. I finished the required reading and did the creative writing. I was thinking and started levitating you get some ideas. "Genny what if someone saw?" Bella asked worried. "In our own home?" I asked. "Charlie could come home." Bella said. I lowered down to the couch sitting there properly. "I don't see why I don't tell Dad. Mom knows." I said. "You want to give Charlie a heart attack?" Bella asked. "Dad has a strong heart, more than that old hamster I resurrected." I said. "It died from a heart attack right after you revived it." Bella said. I laughed knowing that it died from shock. I continued to write the short story and journal entries we have to do for Creative Writing. I finished and closed the notebook. "Done?" Bella asked. "Yes, what do you want to do?" I asked. "Do what we normally did when we're bored?" Bella asked. "Watch lifetime movies and laugh at how stupid they are?" I asked and Bella nodded, I turned on the tv and found Lifetime and we watched the movie that was on and laughed at the only music they had was shark attack music. "I'm waiting for a shark to eat the baby." I said. Dad came home as Bella and I were laughing at the one woman's stupidity in the movie. "What are you girls watching?" He asked. "Lifetime." Bella and I managed out. "Oh I see you girls still make fun of those, did you do your homework?" Dad asked hanging up his belt. "Yes." We both said. Dad went to change and Bella was getting dinner ready. I was still watching lifetime, the movies are horrible but addictive kinda like Law&Order. "So did you two do anything other than homework and watch movies?" Dad asked. "Not really Lifetime can get addictive." I said. "Okay." Dad said, we watched the movie until Bella said dinner was ready. We ate in silence, I did the dishes and I went up to my room and saw Jasper texted me.
Jasper:Hey, Edward's sorry about yesterday.
Genesis:It's fine, we all have bad days.
I took a shower and made sure all my stuff for school tomorrow was ready and went to bed.

A\N:New chapter and the lifetime and Law&Order thing are actually things my grandma and I do. So I thought it would fit how Genesis is.
