Prologue

Genesis's POV
Bella and I were playing with our bears in our bedroom. "Bells want to see something cool?" I asked and she nodded. I made our stuffed animals float with purple magic. "Wow." Bella said touching one. "Genesis!" We turned and saw our Mom standing there with sandwiches. "Mama isn't it cool I have magic." I said. "Genesis never show that again." Mom said. "Why not?" I asked. "It's dangerous." Mom said and gave us sandwiches and left. "I still think it's cool Genny." Bella said. "Thanks Bells." I said. After that I still learned magic and Bella helped me. "Bells guess what?" I asked my older sister at the lockers. "Did you run here from Honors English?" Bella asked. "Yes, but I was reading a spell that can give us a telepathic link." I said. "Why do you want to give us a telepathic link?" Bella asked. "Wouldn't it be cool, we can have twin telepathy." I said. "We aren't twins." Bella said. "Irish twins, not a big difference." I said rolling my eyes at my sister being older by 9 months. "Fine, but if it gets too much you will undo it." Bella said. "Fine worrywart." I said. I did the spell later and nothing happened. "Maybe you repeated it wrong." Bella said. "No I read it perfectly." I said. "Well I guess we can't be telepathically linked." Bella said patting my head. I sighed and it felt weird that I couldn't telepathically link my sister and I. I was walking downstairs to get a snack and saw Bella and Mom talking. "Mom, it's a nice compromise you get to go with Phil and Genny and I get to go see Charlie." Bella said. "What's this about seeing Dad?" I asked. "Genesis don't scare me like that." Mom said jumping since I was silent walking downstairs. "Sorry but I was hungry." I said and got a granola bar. "Well Genny you miss Forks, right." Bella said. "Bella I visit there for a week before going to Florida with Dad to visit you, but I do love it why?" I asked. "Well Bella has an idea you two can go live with Charlie while I travel with Phil." Mom said. "That sounds awesome." I said. "Genesis with your problem do you really think a small town is good?" Mom asked, I rolled my eyes at her idea of my magic being a problem. "Mom I've kept it a secret from Phil and Arizona for my whole life, Forks will be a cakewalk." I said. "Kept what from me and Arizona?" Phil asked looking at us. "Your birthday gift." I lied. "Genesis you are so nice." Phil said smiling at me. I nodded at my stepdad. "Fine you two can go." Mom said, I silently cheered. Bella and I were walking upstairs. "Are you doing this because you want to or is it for Mom and I?" I asked. "Not saying." Bella said. "Fine, but I get to choose your wardrobe." I said knowing my sister's outfits can be bland. "Only if you promise no emo clothes." Bella said. "I'm not an emo." I said. "Your black outfits say otherwise." Bella joked. I stuck my tongue out at her. I loved my sister and we would do great at Forks, I don't know why I have a good feeling about this move.
