There Goes A Perfectly Good Salad

Genesis's POV
Friday after school Bella was using the hose to clean the truck and I was finding a cleaning spell. "Hey Bells I found a cleaning spell." I said. "Last time you said that one of your spell books vanished." Bella reminded probably not wanting me to make her truck vanish on accident. We heard a thud and saw Jasper and Edward, I took the hose and sprayed them. "Can't either of you be normal?" I asked them confused. "Where's the fun in that Doll?" Jasper asked. "Anyways we wanted to know if you wanted to come to our place tomorrow." Edward said. "Sure, I'd love to see Esme again." I said. "Is that really safe?" Bella asked her emotions becoming worry not scared. "Genesis is fine with it." Edward said. "I'm just worried that they won't like me." Bella said. "A family full of vampires and your main concern is them not liking you?" Jasper asked somewhat amused. "Come on Bells their family is really nice." I said smiling and Jasper took a look at the truck and popped the dented part back in place, I smiled. "We have to go." Edward said. "Why?" I asked. "No reason, see you tomorrow." Jasper said they left and I saw the Black's pull up. "Hi decided to visit the truck?" I asked the man and boy. "Came to visit your flat screen." Billy said. "I see you got the dent out." Jacob said. "Yeah." Bella and I said. "I got a six pack." Dad said pulling up in his cruiser. "I got Harry's famous fish fry." Billy said. Bella and I went upstairs and sat on her bed since we didn't know sports. "Bella you'll love Esme, she's every child's dream mother." I said smiling. "Okay." Bella said awkwardly. "She's nothing like Mom I actually get along with her." I said. "Well that's good, that you now have a somewhat good mother daughter relationship with someone." Bella said I nodded smiling, it was true that mom and I had one to many screaming matches. After a bit we wandered downstairs for food and went to bed. I woke up and got dressed for today.

I did hair in curls and walked downstairs. I saw Bella eating something and rolled my eyes, Esme was probably making the whole family cook since Bella was meeting them for the first time. "Genesis aren't you gonna eat, vampires don't eat." Bella said. "Yes and I know that." I said shrugging. Jasper and Edward came to pick us up and Jasper smiled seeing me. "You look beautiful as always." Jasper said kissing my cheek. We got in his car and he drove taking my hand. "I'm curious about Major." I said suddenly. "What about him?" Jasper asked me curious. "Well it seems that he's you but not you." I said. "Think of him as an alter ego, he was made during my time with Maria." Jasper explained. "He thinks of me as a Princess?" I asked. "Yes in all honesty he sees you as that and I see you as my Darlin." Jasper said. "When can I remeet Major, you know when my life isn't in danger." I said. "Later today." Jasper said. We got out at the house and saw Edward and Bella. We walked in and saw they had an Italian cooking show playing and boxes of pots and pans. "You gave us an excuse to use the kitchen." Carlisle said. "Hi Genesis." Esme said hugging me first I hugged back, it wasn't Bella then Genesis it was first Genesis I liked being put first for once it was uncommon due to Bella being older. "This is my mom Esme for all purposes." Edward said to Bella and I smiled. "Hi." Bella said awkwardly. "Hello we're making you rigatoni." Esme said. "Sounds great." Bella and I said. "She already ate." Edward said and I saw Rosalie break a Crystal salad bowl. "I didn't eat." I said smiling. "Great, just great." Rosalie said. "Rosalie." Carlisle said. "I just knew you guys didn't eat." Bella tried to explain. "Well there goes a perfectly good salad." I mumbled and Jasper laughed. "That's very considerate of you." Esme said being understanding. "Yeah, let's just act like this isn't dangerous for all of us." Rosalie said angry at all of us. "Dangerous?" Bella asked. "Like you being sacrificed." I joked and Emmett tried to not laugh at my joke. "No it's just now that you two have gone public it's been getting stares at least with Genesis and Jasper it wasn't odd." Emmett said. Rosalie stomped off and Emmett followed. "Hi Bella." Alice said from out a window and jumped in with Leo, only Alice can make an entrance. "Hey Alice." I said and Alice hugged Bella. "Oh you do smell good." Alice said. "Alice." Edward warned and Bella looked nervous. "Oh relax, I've seen it the three of us are going to be best friends." Alice said to relax Bella, at least hearing visions isn't weird. "Three?" Bella asked. "Gen, you, and I." Alice said. Leo was looking nervous. "Leo relax you won't hurt her." Jasper said making him calm down. "I'm gonna show Bella around." Edward said. They nodded and Jasper made me sit and I chatted with Esme about different things. "So Genesis, Jasper says you'll get a dangerous power when a supernatural creature kills you." Carlisle said. "Yes a male witch who the Volturi killed his coven they tried to kill him by biting him and all it did was give him a power to be able to alter reality, it drove him insane." I said. They nodded and Esme gave me some food and I ate it relaxing. After I finished Esme waved Jasper and I off, we went to his bedroom and I sat across from him. "Can I see Major now?" I asked. "I'm worried he will hurt you." Jasper said. "We've skipped being worried for me when I could probably kick a vampire's ass." I said showing some magic. "Fine." He said and he closed his eyes and he opened them and they were black. "Major?" I asked him and he smirked. "I'm surprised you wanted to see me Princess." He said. "It only seemed fair since you are apart of Jasper." I said. "Of course." He said and cuddled me. "So how did you first appear?" I asked. "In Maria's army, it helped numb Jasper while killing other vampires." Major said running his fingers through my curls. I nodded, Major inhaled and I saw it was Jasper. "He is really fond of you." Jasper said. "Did you have any friends in the newborn army?" I asked. "Two, Peter and his mate Charlotte. Charlotte is a lot like you and Alice combined and Peter we were like brothers." Jasper told me about them. "They sound nice." I said and ran my finger against a scar. "I hate that I have these." Jasper said. "They're a part of you." I said looking up at him. "Still you love a monster." Jasper said. "Oh please if your a monster so am I." I said making eyes glow purple. He smiled and kissed my nose and we walked downstairs and I saw Edward playing piano and it was calming. "That's Bella's lullaby, Edward wrote it for her." Jasper whispered and I nodded. He finished and I saw soon Bella on Edward's back and him jumping from tree to tree outside. "You want to do that?" Jasper asked. "No." I said. "Oh come on." Jasper said I ran and he chased me. I found Esme and ran around the counter with Jasper on the other end and she smiled seeing us and confused. "What is this about?" Esme asked. "I want to have Genesis see what it's like when your high up." Jasper said innocently. "I can do that with levitation." I said. "Jasper, she's your mate." Esme said. "I know." He said sighing. Jasper and I were walking and I heard Rosalie talking to Emmett angry. "I trust Genesis she has her own secret to keep unlike her." Rosalie said. "Still Bella is also Edward's mate, maybe be nice to her." Emmett said nicely. "She's giving up her human life, Genesis at least isn't jumping to get killed by anything supernatural." Rosalie said. "I mean I only know about vampire, shapeshifters, and witches not a wide variety." I said to Jasper. "Still don't go dying you're only sixteen." Jasper said. I saw Leo and Alice were playing chess. "Doesn't Alice always win?" I asked knowing Alice has premonitions. "No Leo has it figured out." Jasper said I read Leo's mind and his next move was just to move a pawn. "I know what move he's doing." I said. "No you don't." Leo said. "I can now read minds." I said. "Great two annoying mind readers." Leo said annoyed. We smiled. I saw Bella and Edward walk in and Alice had a vision and I touched her and also saw a vision of rain and baseball. "Rain tomorrow." Alice said. "Why is it important that it's raining tomorrow?" Bella asked us. "Do you like baseball?" Jasper asked me. "I played softball once in gym." I said shrugging at him and Bella nodded. "Good enough." Jasper said. I smiled at him. "You two should come." Leo said smiling at us. "Uh sure." Bella said. Edward and Jasper took us home and we walked in and saw Dad watching tv relaxing. "Hey girls where were you?" He asked. "We were at the Cullen's." I said and he nodded, we went to my bedroom. "Bella you can't play baseball." I said. "How hard can it be?" Bella asked shrugging and I smirked. "It involves hitting a ball and running all the things you suck at." I said. "I'll be fine Genny." Bella said. "Okay, although I have one question." I said. "Yeah?" Bella asked. "When are you gonna tell Dad about Edward?" I asked her smirking. "Probably when they pick us up." Bella said. I nodded and my laptop beeped. I saw it was Leah and Seth wanting to video chat, I clicked accept. "Hey Leah and Seth." I said. "Hey Gen and Bella." Seth said. "Man you two should've been at the first beach awhile ago, I was there." I said. "Damn and we missed you." Leah said. "No worries maybe we can hang out sometime during the spring break." Seth said being excited. "Yeah, that would be fun." I said smiling. "Kids who are you talking to?" I heard Harry say in the background, I smiled remembering cookouts. "Gen and Bella." Seth said. Harry showed his face on the screen. "Hey Harry." I said. "Oh Gen, I don't think Bella remembers me." Harry said. "Relax she didn't remember Billy either." I said he nodded and left the screen. Leah and Seth had to go since they had to eat dinner. "How can you be friends with Quileute members and also vampires." Bella said. "Right now my friends think they are just legends and also witches aren't things in the legends." I said. She nodded. "Hey girls want to go to the diner?" Dad asked. "Sure." We said, I only had lunch at the Cullen's. We got to the diner and ordered our usual, and Cora smiled. "Well you three are definitely strangers." Cora said. "Bella and Genny are cooking mostly." Dad said. We sat down and I saw Mike Newton and his friends acting like dorks seeing us and I glared. "Friends of yours?" Dad asked. "Just Bells, I'd rather drink poison." I said. He smiled at us. "Genny just thinks they are dumb boys." Bella said. "They are, at least with Jasper I can have a meaningful conversation with." I said and they smiled as Cora brought Dad his steak and baked potato, me my burger and fries, and Bella her cod and fries. I ate mine and we chatted. We finished and we paid and left. We got back home and I went to bed tired from everything today.
