The Beach Is Nice

Genesis's POV
I woke up to my alarm going off and saw it was the day we were going to La Push. I got out of bed and got dressed in my bathing suit, ripped jean short, a green off one shoulder top, tan sandals, sun glasses, and my beach bag with sunscreen, a towel, my phone, earbuds, and a book. I walked downstairs and saw Bella also ready for the beach. "I can see someone is happy for the beach." Bella said. "The beach is nice also, no cast so I get to swim." I said. "Well come on we are meeting the group at Mike's family store." Bella said and we got in my Spark and I drove. We parked and the store and walked out seeing the others. "Oh Gen and Bella are here." Angela said smiling. "Hey Gen and Bella." Mike said. "Hey Mike." We both said. "Well let's get going I'm gonna surf." Eric said. We all got in different cars, I was stuck in a car with Mike, Jessica, Lauren, and Eric. This was just weird since Lauren still had a stick up her ass about the volleyball incident. We got to La Push and got out. I let my feet feel sand. "Well Ben finally asked me out." Angela said. "That's good you and Ben are great together." I said. "Yeah." Bella said. "It's sad that Jasper and Edward couldn't make it." Jessica said. "I didn't invite Jasper he doesn't like the beach." I said. "What?" Mike asked. "Oh Bella asked Edward if he wanted to come." Jessica said rolling her eyes. "Which is nice they don't get invited to much." Angela said. "The Cullen's aren't allowed around here." A couple guys said. One was Jacob and the other one I recognized as Leah's ex boyfriend the other guys looked familiar but I couldn't put a name to a face. "Hey Gen." Jacob said giving me a big hug. "Hey Jake how's Leah and Seth doing?" I asked. "I should have made Seth come and drag Leah they miss you." He said. "Hey Gen, you probably remember me as Jacob's weird friend." A boy said he had smoothed down brown hair, and looked like all the guys on the Rez. "Sorry having a hard time putting a name to a face." I said. "It's fine I'm Embry Call." He said. "Cool." I said and we chatted and laughed. "Want to go swimming?" I asked. "Sure." He said. I had my swimsuit on underneath my clothes already and got compliments from Angela, I understood after I saw Jessica and Lauren in bikinis that left nothing to the imagination. Embry and I swam and splashed each other. We got out when we heard thunder and we were in the van and I put on my shorts and T shirt after I dried off. We headed back since the rain wasn't letting up. When is Forks gang got back from La Push and I got in the spark with Bella. "Genesis do you know what golden eyes mean?" Bella asked. "I told you before, no." I said. "Well Jacob told me about the cold ones and the Cullen's check most boxes." Bella said. "Or it could be a stupid family feud that's been going on for generations." I said. "Yeah." Bella said. We got home and I went upstairs to my bedroom and changed into some warm pjs.

I heard my window open. "Whoever it is please not now." I said knowing it was Jasper. "Why do you smell faintly like wet dog." Jasper said. "Please don't tell me that those wolf legends from La Push exist." I said. "Okay." Jasper said and I groaned in my pillow as he chuckled. "I want a divorce." I said. "We're not married." Jasper said. "Hypothetical divorce." I said glaring. "I'm taking the hypothetical kids." Jasper said. "Fine, I get hypothetical visitation." I said. "Got it love." He said pulling me on his lap, I made some stuff float around us. "The beach was actually nice I got see Jake." I said. "Who?" Jasper asked. "I have friends on the Rez, since my Dad went fishing with their parents." I said. "Oh is Bella friends with them also?" Jasper asked. "Not really it's more of childhood friends who one remembers and one doesn't." I said. "Oh I get it so Edward doesn't have competition." Jasper said. "I thought you said you weren't getting involved in their love life." I said. "Pining is too crazy to watch." Jasper said. I nodded agreeing. "The pent up emotions is enough to make you sick." I said. We sat there and he smiled when I showed him spirit animals and his was a lynx. "What's yours?" Jasper asked I casted mine and the snow fox appeared. After a bit Jasper left and I walked downstairs and saw Bella was on her laptop. "Doing something Bells?" I asked. "Yeah." Bella mumbled and I saw she looked up vampires. "Bella, have you been reading horror romance again?" I asked. "That was back in middle school and one year." Bella said. "And I'll never let you live it down. So why are you looking up vampires?" I asked. "Jacob told me about the legends and the Cold Ones." Bella said. "Okay and this prompted you to look up vampires, why?" I asked. "I think the Cullen's are vampires." Bella said to me. "Bella you those legends are stories to get kids to behave." I said. "Genny you have magic powers that make you do the impossible, I don't we should rule out vampires existing." Bella said. "Than keep your mind open about mermaids." I said. "You are still on mermaids being real?" Bella asked. "Yes Bells, I have a feeling they exist." I said. "Well they fit the boxes, attractive, and strange eye color." Bella said. "Bells, are you sure you aren't reading too much into it?" I asked. "Genny." Bella said and I nodded patting my sister's head. "Have fun." I said walking downstairs and made two sandwiches. I went back into Bella's room and gave her a sandwich. "Thanks Genny." Bella said. "No prob, anyways there are plenty other things than vampires." I said. "Genny we only know about witches." Bella pointed out. "Hey shifters could also be real." I said shrugging. Bella continued her research and sighed. "I'll need to find a book to read about vampires." Bella said. "Want me to give you some vampire romance books." I asked. "Those are scaring." Bella said. "Your fault for having a high reading level." I said. "So do you." Bella said. "Yeah but I have a genre I like." I said to my sister. "I know so how are you and Jasper doing?" Bella asked interested. "Great he treats me like a princess." I said smiling. "You think Edward would treat me like that?" Bella asked. "Probably." I said. "Will you still want to be with Jasper if we find out he's a vampire?" Bella asked. "That makes him even more hot." I said and Bella rolled her eyes and I giggled at her. "So how are you gonna get this book you said the library is very small." I said. "We'll need to go to Port Angeles." Bella said. "Any idea on how to get there since I am not driving for just a book." I told her. "I'll find a way we need to go there for more than a book." Bella said, I nodded and we continued talking. "You and Jake seemed getting close." I commented. "He told me the legends I'm shocked Embry didn't tell you them." Bella said. "Ehh I heard them from Billy and Harry all the time when I hung out with Seth, Leah, and Jake." I said. "It's odd." Bella said. "About what?" I asked. "It seems here you are thriving while I just feel like the outsider." Bella said. "We were both outsiders in Phoenix with your paleness and with what you call my emo phase." I said. "Genny it was emo and you seem more in control of your magic now." Bella said. "That's because witches have soulmates and it causes witches to be more in control and I think Jasper is mine." I said smiling. "Are you gonna tell him your a witch?" Bella asked. "Would you be mad if I already told him." I said. "No, since if he's your soulmate it would be perfect." Bella said. I laughed at my sister and smiled as we continued to chat and we both decided to watch some movies on her laptop. "Okay so we can watch Hairspray." I said. "Fine." Bella sighed and we watched the movie laughing. After we watched the movie I went to my bedroom and lied on bed falling asleep. I woke up and heard a thud from downstairs. I walked downstairs and saw Edward in Bella's room I was ready to scream but he rushed over and put his hand over my mouth. "Let's talk in your room." He said and we went to my bedroom. "What the hell!?" I asked him mad. "Listen you're Jasper's mate and I'm Bella's." Edward said calmly. "Still sounds like your a stalker and watching my sister sleep is creepy." I said. "So Jasper did it to you." Edward said. "My blood doesn't smell appetizing due to the magic running in the veins, my sister on the other hand probably smells like an all you can eat buffet to you." I said. "I'm not going to drink her blood I'm just getting used to her scent." Edward said. "Great." I said and took out my phone and dialed Jasper's number. "Who are you calling?" Edward asked. "Babe what's up?" Jasper asked picking up. "Hey can you rip a vampire limb off and beat them with it?" I asked. "Yes, why?" Jasper asked. "Just curious." I said and smirked at Edward my eyes flashing purple. "How is it you are not scared of us?" Edward asked. "Oh please I'm witch that is highly powerful I'm not scared of someone who can suck blood dry." I said. "Why is Edward in your room?" Jasper asked still on the other end. "I found him being a stalker." I said. "Sorry." Jasper said. "It's not your fault." I said and hung up. "I'll leave." Edward said and left through my window. I sighed and fell on my bed, when did my life become this? I fell asleep and woke up the next day to Dad walking around. I got out of bed and walked downstairs seeing Dad eating a bowl of cereal and a cup of coffee. "You're up early." He said. "Yeah I woke up and knew I couldn't get back to sleep." I said. "Okay, hey Genny are you feeling anything strange happen to you?" He asked. "No, why?" I asked. "Just wondering." He said I nodded and smiled getting some cereal and coffee for myself. I sat at the table. Dad and I ate while chatting and it was nice to just have a conversation with Dad. Bella stumbled down soon and also got cereal. "Morning sunshine." I said. "Shut up." Bella mumbled, Bella wasn't that much of a morning person so if I'm more awake than her I like to be annoying. Dad left as Bella tried to not fall asleep in her cereal. "Bells if you fall asleep in your cereal I'm not waking you up." I said. "Yeah I know you'd take a picture so you have blackmail." Bella said. I nodded and took my bowl and coffee cup to the sink and washed them. I walked upstairs and saw I needed to do laundry so I got my basket and walked downstairs and into the mud room and put my clothes in the washer. I relaxed on the couch reading a random book. The washer finished and I put them in the dryer and I was talking to Bella about random things. "So we need to figure out how to get to Port Angeles." Bella said. "Well we lied about the school dance thingie." I said. "Yeah so we take the Spark that day?" Bella asked. "Sure." I said. "Good, it's also less suspicious if we actually leave since people think we are going to Seattle." Bella said. "I am not going to Seattle with you." I said. "Rude." Bella said. I rolled my eyes at my older sister. "I may like Coffee shops and rain but I'd have to worry about you not getting hit by a bicyclist." I said. Bella nodded smiling at me.
