Genesis's POV
I woke up to sun shining in my face, wait it's usually dark around here. I looked out my window by my bed and I saw sunlight. I got dressed for school and let my hair down. I grabbed my backpack and still saw Bella dressed in a warm outfit. "Come on, Bells it's not that cold." I said. "Yes it is." Bella said. We left in the Spark and got to school. I saw the Cullen's weren't there, I mean it's common knowledge vampires can't be in the sun. Bella was trying to do Trig while looking for the Cullen's. I saw kids were all wearing shorts and tank top, guys it's 50 degrees not one hundred. "They won't be here." Jessica said leaning against my car. "Why not?" Bella asked clearly confused. "Their parents take them out whenever it's sunny for hiking and camping. I tried that with my parents once didn't work." Jessica said annoyed. "Hey guys." Angela said walking up and I smiled at my friend. "Hey Ang." I said. "Why don't we go shopping for prom dresses." Jessica said perky. "Don't you guys have the other dance?" I asked. "We already have dresses for that, but we need Prom dresses." Jessica said. "Understood, Jasper and I are probably going to Prom." I said shrugging. "Then you need a dress." Jessica said smiling. "Yeah, Bells didn't you say you needed to get a book, you can come." I said. "Of course." Bella said. The bell rang and I rushed to Trig. I sat in that class taking notes and being good. Soon lunch came and Bella ran to me. "Why did you decide for us to go together?" She asked. "Well it's either I go alone and strangle Jessica or you come with and I don't end up in a pissy mood." I said. "Fine." Bella sighed we got in line and I got my lunch. We sat at our table and Mike kept acting like a lost puppy, when my head started hurting. 'What does Mike see in them, I swear Bella is so quiet and Genesis acts like a freak.' I looked at Jessica who was gossiping with Lauren, then how did I hear what she probably thought of Bella and I. "Bells I need to tell you something important outside." I said. "Okay." Bella said. I dragged her outside. "I think I can read minds." I said. "What?" Bella asked. "I was just eating and a headache came and I heard what Jessica thought about Mike liking us." I said. "Back up Mike likes us?" Bella asked. "Bella focus!" I yelled. "Okay, man just when I think you won't get more powers you can now read minds." Bella sighed and I smiled the bell rang and I followed Bella to Bio. Edward can read thoughts, maybe he help me control it. I sat in Bio with Angela and we both chatted while doing the lab, Bella got put with us since Edward wasn't there. Soon the bell rang and Mike ran up to Bella and I stopped him, hearing his hormonal thoughts was not something I enjoy as a pastime. "Sorry Mike serious sister time." I said and he sulked away. "Why?" Bella asked. "Bella his thoughts are worse then a perverted grown man." I said. "Okay, it's not like he acts on them." Bella said. "Yet just give him a bit." I said shrugging. "Oh this new power won't get annoying quickly." Bella said, I rolled my eyes at her. School ended and I drove us home to drop off our backpacks and tell Dad. "Dad we are going to Port Angeles with some friends." I said. "With who?" Dad asked. "Angela Weber and Jessica Stanley." Bella said and Dad nodded, I tried to read his thoughts but I got nothing just like Bella, pure silence. Jessica showed up and we got in her car. She drove as she chatted about Mike and the dress she wanted. We got to a store and I found a dress to try on, it fit. I walked out and Angela smiled. "It looks good." Angela said. "It looks like a trash bag." Jessica said, wow way to hit my self esteem. "Okay." I said. "Hey are we the same size let me try it on." Jessica said, I thought she hated it. "You just said it looked like a trash bag." Angela said confused. "On Genesis but it might look good on me." Jessica said. "We are not the same size, I'm more curvy." I said. "You mean fat." Jessica said. I walked in the dressing room and took off the dress and looked at my body seeing the extra fat, maybe I should go on a diet, I'm not the healthiest and Jasper would probably like me more skinny. I put my normal clothes and kept looking at dresses and saw a big purple ruffle one. I went and tried it on and walked out. "How does it look?" I asked, their jaws dropped. "You look like a princess, Gen." Angela and Bella said. "Thanks, you think Jasper would like it?" I asked. "Of course he will, what do you think Jess?" Angela asked. "It at least hides her body and shows some cleavage." Jessica said snidely. "I'll buy it, and it's also on sale." I said and they nodded. I paid for it and asked them to hold it. "Hey Genny want to go to the bookstore now?" Bella asked. "Yeah." I said following her. "Hey we are going to a bookstore we'll meet you guys at the restaurant for dinner." Bella said. "Okay." They said. We left and we found the bookstore and saw it looked more hippy than informative. "They might have a book come on." I said and we walked in and we smiled at the lady and saw they did have a supernatural section. I got the book and Bella paid for it since I bought my damn prom dress. We left and walked back to the restaurant but we took a wrong turn. "Bella I think we took a wrong turn." I said. "Yeah." My older sister said and we turned and walked and I felt someone following us. "Look here two pretty ladies." Someone said. "Stay away from her, you creeps." I said getting ready to fight with my magic. "Oh cute, a little to big for my liking but still beautiful." One said, what's with people and my weight right now. I had Bella behind me and I head two cars screech to a stop. "Get in." I saw one was Edward and another was Jasper I shoved Bella to Edward and he smiled at me I got in Jasper's and he looked at me worried and angry as he drove "I'm gonna go back and murder them." He said his eyes pitch black which he never has. "No you aren't, Carlisle would be mad." I said. "Jasper didn't tell you." He said. "Tell me what?" I asked. "I'm sorta like his alter ego Major." Major said. "And you are out why?" I asked. "Jasper knew I'd keep our Princess safe." Jasper said making me blush at the nickname. "Do you want Jasper?" Major asked. "Yes please." I said and Major closed his eyes and I soon saw gold eyes. "Sorry he just came out." Jasper said. "If Major needed to come out it's fine." I said taking his hand and he smiled feeling my warm hand. "I picked up your dress, after I saw what you bought." Jasper said. "Do you like it?" I asked. "Why do you think Major called you Princess." He said. "Do you think I'm fat?" I asked him. "Why would you think that, I love every part of you." He said. We got to Bella Italiana. I saw Jessica and Angela walking out. "Bella and Gen you both are okay." Angela said worried. "We're so sorry, we were so hungry that we just went into eat." Jessica said. Edward and Jasper shared an unamused look, I knew they were both thinking about Jessica and her fake apology. "It's fine, we saw Bella and Gen and started talking to them and we lost track of time." Jasper said. "We can give them a ride home and they can eat." Edward said. "That's so nice, see you tomorrow Gen and Bella." Angela said hugging Bella and I. Jasper and I walked in and we got a table alone. We sat there looking at the menu. "I got a new power." I said. "What is it?" Jasper asked looking at me. "I can read minds." I said. "Great guess any surprise gifts I can't do." Jasper said. "Just don't think about them." I said smiling sweetly. He laughed and the waiter came up to us. "What can I get you to drink?" He asked. "Sprite." I said. "Water." Jasper said. He left and I looked at Jasper's gold eyes. "How come you weren't shocked I was a witch?" I asked. "I had a younger sister, she had magic, I left for the war before she developed some powers I think." Jasper said. "Probably you get them at weird times, not fun when you accidentally levitate in your sleep." I said. "If that happens I'm asking if Carlisle knows an exorcism, he was a pastor's child." Jasper said and we laughed as our drinks came and I ordered lasagna and Jasper ordered nothing. "Do you burn in the sun?" I asked him. "No that myth is fake it's more disco what happens." Jasper said. "Disco?" I asked. He smirked and kissing my hand and I saw Bella and Edward talking and Bella looking at him suspiciously. "It's a shock Bella hasn't socked Edward." Jasper said changing the subject. "Yeah has anyone in the family socked him?" I asked curious. "Emmett and it was apparently after he found out vampires have heightened strength." Jasper said. "You didn't see it?" I asked. "Alice, Leo, and I joined after we found Leo when Alice and I were looking for the Cullen's." Jasper explained. The food came and I ate and he smiled chatting with me. "Why do you enjoy watching me eat?" I asked. "Well you're right now a human." Jasper said. "Jasper as a witch I will stop aging." I said. "When?" He asked. "I will stop aging if I get killed." I said. "So a resurrection type thing?" He asked. "Yes but I would like to not be killed to soon." I said. "Understandable will you still need to eat?" Jasper asked. "Jaz, I'll still be a human with a beating heart the worst is gaining a dangerous power." I said. "Okay." He said and I smiled kissing his cheek. I finished eating and he paid, we left along with Edward and Bella. He turned on the radio and I heard a nice song playing and we drove to town and I saw Carlisle Mercedes in the station. "Why is Carlisle at the station." Jasper said looking. "So is my Dad pull in." I said and Jasper pulled in along with Edward. We all got out and I saw Carlisle walk out. "Waylon Forge was found dead." Carlisle said. "He's dead?" Bella and I asked. "Animal attack." Carlisle said and Bella walked in to talk to Dad to get more information. "Animal attack or vampire attack?" I asked them raising an eyebrow. "Vampire most likely since some of his clothes were missing." Edward said. I nodded and kissed Jasper's cheek and walked in the station to see Dad. I saw the secretary, Riley, she used to let me help her during the summer. I walked in Dad's office and saw Bella hugging him. I felt the emotions of sadness and grief. I tried to make them calm but that's hard, I hugged Dad and Bella and they looked at me. "It will be okay." I said and Dad nodded hugging both of us.
Jasper's POV
We got back home after Carlisle and the family looked at us. "So?" Alice asked. "Well they are grieving since their father's friend was killed." I said and they nodded. "Bella's gonna find out our secret." Edward said. "So you realize she's the one?" Leo asked. "Yes, I can't be without her." Edward said nodding. "Yes another little sister." Emmett said cheering. "But I will not damn her to this existence." Edward said. "You are more of a moron than you think." Rosalie and I said. "Jasper would you damn Genesis to this life?" Edward asked me. "A vampire can't kill a witch they just get stuck at the age they died and have a destructive power." I said. "So Genesis won't die?" Alice asked. "If she gets killed she'll be fine." I said. They nodded and I saw my phone rang with an unknown number I went to answer. "Hi is this Jasper Hale?" I heard Angela ask. "Yeah Angela it's me, Jasper, how did you get my number?" I asked. "I might have found it on Gen's phone." Angela said. "So why are you calling me?" I asked. "To just threaten you since Gen is my closest friend." Angela said. "Okay so start." I said, it was nice Genesis had friends. "Gen, is definitely a character but in a cool different way." Angela said. "Okay I know this." I said. "Yeah and I don't want her to get hurt, so if you hurt her I'll find a way to hurt you." Angela said. I smiled in amusement at this attempt for her to be scary. "Good to know bye Angela." I said and hung up. I looked at the ceiling thinking of Genesis and I together.
