Y/N POV:today me matt and our friend group went out together. we all went to the mall bought things i went my separate way and went with my freinds. matt wanted to come but chris dragged him to there freinds. while nick dragged me to our friends. after we all met up at the food court and went to this pretty outdoor cafe. nick sat next to me next to nick was madi infront of madi was paige and next to paige was chris and on my other side was matt. the rest of the friend group left early. as we ordered our food and talked. i was talking alot getting to know madi more as she got to know me more. everyone seemed to be talking but matt. i nudged him a little while everyone was distracted. he looked at me.
"u ok" i asked. "yeah" he said and looked forward. "babe seriously" i said turning him back to me. "i'm fine seriously babe" he said. he said it kinda blandly. i just stared at him confused and before i can say anything the waitress came in. all our foods were set and we started eating. "how's  your food y/n" nick said. "magnificent" i say and nick giggled . "why tf did u say it like that" chris said laughing. "what it's delicious" i say giving a goofy smirk. "bro omg" madi said chuckling. i turn to see if matt was laughing and he cracked a smile. something was off though. we all finished our food and started to walk down to the beach since it was close by. a sunset was forming. nick was walking with chris and infront was paige and madi. i was walking with matt. we were talking we were holding hands. oh then i decide to bring it up. "matt u sure ur ok? u were off earlier" i said looking up at him. "can i be honest" he said looking down. "always matt" i say smiling. he looked at me and smiled. "i wanted attention" he said mumbling enough for me to catch it. to be honest i gushed. and started to tease him. " you what" i said poking him. "nothing" he said a cheeky smile forming. "oh i heard bernard" i said hugging his side. "i'm sorry" he said holding me by my side aswell. "there's nothing to be sorry abt baby u simply just wanted me" i said smirking. "it's just u kinda help me in like big crowds and stuff and i was a little anxious to go to the mall and then we split the groups" he says rambling. "hey hey it's ok matt i'm here now i say squeezing us closer. he smiled and we got to the beach. "ok since i'm like the mom of all of you i brought two blankets in my bag we can lay on" nick said taking them out. "your so smart nick" i said. "why thank u y/n" he said smiling. he gave me a blanket and Paige one. we placed it down next to each other to make a bigger blanket. paige and madi sat together nick and chris with them. leaving me and matt on basically our own blanket. we sat close to each other laying down looking at the sunset and hearing the ocean. matt got closer and laid  his head on my shoulder. "u tired" i said playing with his hair. "mhm" he says closing his eyes. after maybe like 30 minutes i think matt fell asleep. his arm was wrapped around me and now his head was on my chest.  i heard giggling and i looked to my side and see nick taking a picture. "nick!!" i say in a whisper yell. "what you guys look adorable" he says gushing. "she stole my bf" chris says jokingly. "omg shut up guys he's sleeping" i say looking down at him. "no way" nick says. " yep" i say rubbing his back. "this kid really love u" said chris smiling. "fr  y/n like on a serious note i'm glad you make him so happy" nick says. i blushed and gave him a cheeky smile. "look at you" nick cooed. "omg" i said laying my head back down. we cuddled there for awhile and then picked up and went back to the car. matt was still sleepy. i was surprised since he stay up until like 6 in the morning like every other day. i was holding him from his side while he held mine. we were in the car now and chris decided to drive since matt was pretty tired. nick i'm the front and me and matt in the back seats while paige and madi r in the middle. matt's head is laying on my lap and he had his eyes closed once again. "babe" i whisper. he moved his head towards me. "we're u just tired all day" i asked him rubbing his side a little. "kinda yeah" he says yawning. "we could have stayed home" i said reassuring.  "no no i wanted to go we wouldn't have had the pretty beach moment" he said smiling. "oh u mean u sleeping on me" i say playing with his hair. "correct" he says moving his head back. i kiss his cheek and played with his hair and looked out the window. man i was lucky to be with this man.
