(y/n) typed away on her computer and hummed whatever song was playing in her queue. It was displeasing that she had to complete work during her break but at least she would become a lawyer. Rose would pop in every so often to check in on her and make small talk.

It was 12:34 pm and (y/n) had completed the daily amount of work she set for herself. Bo and Marshall were watching a Broadway show and Kiko and Kristen were doing some shopping. It was her and her two ex-boyfriends in the house.

"Hey, Dunphy." You sat next to ex-boyfriend number one and he barely acknowledged your existence. "Everything alright?"

"Yeah, I'm fine. I just didn't get that much sleep." He rubbed his eyes and yawned.

"I'm sure that sorority girl kept you up all night." (y/n) wiggled her eyebrows and he blushed.

"Serenity is pretty cool."

"Oh, Luke you fool."

Tristan hobbled down the stairs with a plate in his hands and bobbed his head to the music coming from his AirPods.

"Should we have a party tonight?" You suggested. "I'll invite some of my uni friends and you can invite your girlfriend."

"Serenity is not my girlfriend." Luke bit his thumb.

"Oooh somebody has a crush." You poked him on the arm and he swatted your hand away. "I'm going to call Annalise and tell her to bring the best caterers she has. We're having a pool party."

............

"How the hell is your backyard bigger than your house?" Grant marveled at the 3 lit-up pools, the jacuzzi, and the caterers cooking food in front of an audience.

"My parents have a lot of money and like pretty things so." You shrugged.

"I almost forgot," Grant said and reached into his pocket to pull out a yellow envelope. "A thank you card for supper. Best meal I've had in a while."

"Aw, Grant." (y/n) smiled. "You didn't have to."

Grant scratched his neck and grinned. "Nah, it's no biggie. There's a lot of people, aren't there?"

(y/n) had invited everyone she's ever studied with, random baristas she thought were cool and some of her neighbors she barely knew.

"It's about to become more chaotic when Lorelai brings the Delta-Nu girls." The two walked over to the bar and were given two pina Coladas.

"This is gnarly." Grant toyed with the pink umbrella in his drink and took a sip. "You invited Lorelai's sorority?"

"Wanted to make it a party. Told them to bring their friends and whatever."

"I hate sorority houses."

A group of 14 girls holding bottles of tequila and towels walked in and greeted some people they knew. Lorelai hugged Grant and kisses his cheeks before taking a swing of tequila and sitting in the hot tub with Tristan. Luke watched Serenity with big puppy eyes as she sat next to him and made out with him.

Grant tensed next to (y/n) when Lorelai hit Thorpe on the arm and offered him tequila.

"You ok?"

He didn't respond and watched her. Lorelai leaned into his ear to whisper something and they both chuckled. Her arm moved to rest on his shoulder and now it was your turn to tense up.

Snap out of it. They're just friends. He's your ex-boyfriend.

"Yeah. I'm good." He slurped his cocktail and exhaled. "Sorority houses are too much for me. I used to be in a Fraternity house when I played Pro football-"
