I can't believe she would think I wouldn't be there for her. That I would leave her cry alone over some goofball who can't value her.

Tristan thought back to the times where Luke broke (y/n)'s heart and his chest tightened. Her gray skin, her tired eyes, her lack of energy.

His grip tightened around the steering wheel as he took a left.

I hate that guy.

"Do you guys want to go sightseeing today?" (Y/n) proposed as Phil and Claire ate their breakfast. "I think they're offering a daytime boat ride around the statue of liberty."

"Ooh I like the sound of that." Claire said. "Do we need tickets?"

"Yes but I have that covered. Unless you guys want to go six flags?"

"I lile the sound of that better!" Luke said from the couch.

"I haven't been on a roller-coaster in years." Phil reminisced. "We should do it."

"It'll be the 7 of us because everyone else at Casa Del Roy is visiting their relatives."

"Grandpa is coming?" Alex asked. "Isn't he going to have a heart attack and die?"

"I'm not that old!" Jay called from the couch. "Whatever (y/n) wants to do I'll do."

"Then six flags it is."

The parents nodded and started getting ready. Alex helped (y/n) put away the dishes and followed her parents upstairs.

"Jay, if you don't feel comfortable going on roller-coasters you can stay behind and then me and you can go out for drinks." You offered. Jay flicked his wrist and shook his head.

"No it's okay. We can do that another time, just me and you. Roller-coasters sound fun." He patted your back and hobbled upstairs.

You unlocked your phone and quickly bought the tickets. You knew it was going to be busy so you bought the flash passes (idk if they have those in the states🙈) to cut long lines.

Should I invite Thorpe?

You bit your knuckle and hovered your thumb over the call app.

He would be out of place. Unless I invite Grant and Lorelai. They all met yesterday so maybe it won't be that weird?

"Should we bring sunscreen and waterbottles?" Claire asked.

"You're not allowed to bring water but we can bring the bottles and fill them up there." You said.

"I'll bring sunscreen just in case. Luke burns easy." Claire went back upstairs to fetch her things. Phil wore a baseball cap and a 'Six Flags 09' t-shirt.

"Told you it had been in a while." He stood with his hands on his hips and his chin high.

"I don't think I'm going to go." Alex said. "They're having a book reading at Barns and Noble."

"Have fun sweetie." Phil said.

"Are we ready to go?" Jay asked.

"Yes, we are. Are we taking two cars?"
Claire said as stuffed waterbottles in her bag.

"No it's okay. I have my Rolls Royce jeep back at my actual house. I'll bring that over."

Thorpe killed the engine and stared at the white door.

He didn't expect anyone to come out of it since there was no one currently living in it. Except at night when (y/n) would come back to sleep.
