Tristan tapped his foot and checked his watch before the barista handed him his coffee.

He could've easily made one at his ex-girlfriend's house but he moved out. He's staying with his mom for the rest of spring break.

I have nothing against the Dunphys. I think they're good people.

What I dont like is their son and his tiny brain and his tiny braincells and the way he treats women and the fact that he thinks there's a chance between him and my ex.

Like they could get back together! Tristan chuckled. If they got back together I'll give Zooey a call and propose to her.

"What are you doing here hun?" Aunt Lisa said with her New York accent.

"I need to get out of the house." (Y/n) mumbled and stood behind the counter. Her knuckles were white as she gripped the glass.

"I gave you the week off for spring break. Is your mother here? Is that why? Is she being all rich again?"

(Y/n) grunted and stared at the door. She watched the people pass by the store and the occasional kids who pointed at the jewelry on display.

"Well, are you going to tell me what's going on or are you going to pay for the glass you're about to break?" Lisa asked and (y/n) eased her grip.

"Thorpe is moving in with his mom."

Aunt Lisa blinked. "Oh...Kay."

(Y/n) threw her hands in the air. She made some noises of disbelief and left the store.

"Canadians." She rolled her eyes.

"What's up with you." Meredith poked her brother.

"I picked the worst option ever." He cried into his palms as his mother sang along to a Greek song.

"I thought you liked this song." Meredith moved to the beat and answered her messages. Tristan did enjoy the song but he couldn't enjoy it. Not when he knew the remaining 6 days of spring break would be shitty.

"So he left?" Grant asked as he loaded the dishwasher.

"Yup." (Y/n) said. She crossed her arms and dug her nails into her skin.

"Because he didn't like the fact that your family was staying over?"

"Yup."

"Wow." Grant chucked. "He sure is stubborn."

"I just wish he could put the past aside and shove his pride down his stupid throat. It's not like Thorpe hates the Dunphys, he hates Luke. The fact that Luke's family will be sleeping in my house bothers him. He's such a child!"

"There, there, young one. You will learn to accept the fact that Tristan is weird. Very weird. And jealous. Extremely jealous." Grant massages her arm.

"What could he be jealous of?" (Y/n) thought.

"You prefer ex-bf #1 over him-"

"Luke is my best friend-"

"You prefer ex-bf #1 parents over his-"

"That's not fair they're my family. I mentioned before that Thorpe doesn't dislike the Dunphys."
