(Steve: 24 weeks)

Have you ever felt like you were lost at helping someone? That's where Billy was with Steve, who hit the twenty-four-week mark and was having all kinds of issues, not like life-threatening, it was just back pain, hip pain, stomach cramps,  and leg pain. He was also having mood swings, they were terrible, Steve could be happy one minute, crying the next, then he would be screaming or shouting at Billy for looking at him the wrong way or for just breathing. Steve felt bad that he shouted at his lover for no reason when he had those anger outbursts, and he was having cravings for sugary things Billy didn't want Steve to eat a lot of sugar because it's not good for him or the twins, so, he tried suggested Steve should eat more fruit than sugar, which Steve tried but got mad at Billy, and said, "Who's the pregnant one here?"
Billy knew that since Steve got pregnant, he never told his pregnant lover, 'no'. Because he didn't want Steve to get mad at him since he wanted his lover to keep his stress level down, which so far he's doing good at.

"Billy?" Steve said, "Where is the rest of that ice cream I got yesterday?"
Billy knew he was going to get chewed out for this response. "I threw it out."
Steve came waddling into the living room. "Did I hear you right?" Steve answered back. "Yes, you did and I want to say something too." Steve crossed his arms, waiting to see what Billy had to say. "You aren't getting any more of it either."
Steve looked at Billy, with his hands on his hips. "Excuse you?" Steve replied, getting into his lover's face. "Yeah, you heard me, I'm looking out for you," Billy replied, getting angry. "You don't need to eat it every day!" Steve looked at him heartbroken.

"What?" Billy realized he fucked up. "I thought you love me!" Steve said, he had tears rolling down his face. "Steve, I'm just looking out for you that's all!" Was it really worth it arguing with a pregnant person?

Steve would always cry when Billy raised his voice a little bit to him, not like screaming at him nor yelling at him, just him talking loud if they were in different rooms and Steve didn't hear him the first time. Hargrove did feel bad if he made Steve cry because he never wanted to upset his lover, but his hormones were all over the place.

"Steve, I didn't mean to sound mean, I'm sorry." He quickly apologized. "I love you, I really do." Steve started to cry. "No, I'm the one who should be apologizing, I've been such an asshole to you about what I eat since I got pregnant, I'm so so sorry, Billy, I do really love you, I do with all of my heart."  Hargrove hugged him, while his lover cried. "I'm sorry for telling you that you shouldn't be eating ice cream," Billy replied, trying to calm Steve down. "Well, it was getting old anyways, so, thank you for doing what you did," Steve replied, resting his hands on his bump.
"I thought the ice cream smelled funny."  They both laughed. "Well, what do you say?" Billy said, "Should we go get you another tub?"
"No, I don't want it." Steve said, "You told me I need to watch my sugar intake!"
"And the attitude continues."

~The next day~

Max came into the machine shop that Billy worked at. "Hello!" She said, her brother looked up. "Hey, kid."
"You look like you had a rough night," Max informed.  Billy rubbed his face with his hand. "Oh, believe me, I did." Her brother replied, "Steve has been very snippy lately, he got mad at me because I threw the rest of the ice cream out he was eating, I'm sorry it smelt weird." Max raised an eyebrow at that statement. "Why was Steve eating it then if it smelt weird?" his sister asked.
"I don't know," Hargrove replied, "he got mad at me for looking out for him and the twins."
Max nodded. "So, you took his ice cream then?" Billy sat down on a steel stool chair that was in the shop, where he sat down on.  "Yes, I threw it out." Billy informed, "Steve got all upset when I told him, not to eat it anymore and he got all upset and started to cry and said I don't love him, which is a lie, I love him so much, no one understands how much I do." Billy got emotional when he talks about how much he loved Steve.   Max could tell her brother really loved her babysitter, She had never seen Billy love someone as much as he does Steve, and she was glad that Billy and Steve got together.    Before they got together, Max could see how much they liked each other, over how they looked at each other, when they became a thing, she and the rest of the kids were the first to know about them being together, and ever since that day, Billy changed for the better, he was really sweet towards everyone and he always was loving on Steve, kissing & hugging on him, showing him how much he loved him, Max really have to say, Steve really did save Billy, since her brother was going threw a hard time with Neil being an ass to him, which was no shocker there, Neil and Billy were always at each other's throats, fighting and yelling at each other non-stop, Max hated seeing Billy so upset, she and he always hid away in her bedroom when Neil was on one of his drunken episodes. She was happy for Billy when he got out of school and could move out of the hellhole they called home and moved out. He got a house with Steve and he finally got Harrington back into his life since Neil forced Billy to break up with him after he walked in on his son and Harrington making out in Billy's room, which Neil hated his son for. Max felt bad for Billy that night since Billy couldn't be himself, he wanted Steve in his life and to be his boyfriend but his father refused to let that happen, but Billy got Harrington back in his life and they started to date again, where they were going strong for three years. Max was really glad to see Billy be with Steve again, they went threw hell, all thanks to Neil.  Which now, they are in a good place now, living together, plus Steve's six months pregnant and twenty-four weeks with twins. Max was really happy when she got the news she was going to be an aunt to twins as well, she was glad that her brother was able to be happy again, which he was for sure with Harrington.

"I get what you are saying, I really do," Max answered back. "You love Steve." She looked down at her shoes. "Are you nervous about becoming a dad?" Billy knew she was going to ask that. "I'm terrified, I'm worried that I'm going to be like my old man, I don't want to end up like my dad, Max, I've been thinking about this since the day Steve and I found out we were having twins, I don't want my kids to hate me as I do to their grandpa." Max put a hand on her brother's shoulder. "Everything will be fine, you are different than Neil. Your dad's an asshole, I don't have no respect for him over how much he's put you threw." She stopped then quickly added. "You have Steve as well, you guys can work as a team." Billy nodded. "I literally can't imagine my life without him." He said, looking down.  "You must really love him," Max answered back, and her brother laughed at him. "I do, Max, I actually been wanting to ask him to marry me," Hargrove said, where Max's eyes got big. "Did I hear you right?" his sister asked, watching her brother smash his cigarettes under his boot. "Yes, you did, but I'm waiting for when the twins are born though,"  Billy replied. Max nodded. "Do you guys know what you guys are having yet?" She asked, smiling a little at what her brother just had done. "Not yet, when we have our fourth or sixth scan, They'll be able to tell us what we are having," he replied, not looking up at her.  "Oh okay," she answered back, putting her hands in her pockets. "I don't even know if Steve wants to have a baby shower." Max kicked a little at the ground. "I don't know on that one though."

"Me either, we haven't discussed anything yet about his birth plan, what he wants to do for the nursery, We got the room since it was our guest room but it's now the nursery for the twins, Hopper helped me get the cribs together for the room, and he helped me take the stuff out of the room before we started working on the cribs, Steve and I really need to do something nice for Hopper since he's been so nice towards us."

"He's a nice guy," Max replied, Billy began to speak again. "He told me yesterday that since I brought it up, he wanted to wait to see what we are having before we paint the walls, which works well for me."

"Perfect!" she turned on her feet. "I gotta get going before Eleven wonders where I am, see you later, Billy."

"See ya, kiddo." He said, getting up from the chair he was sitting on and getting back to work.
