~chapter start~

As they were finishing up the paper work, the other members of the gang returned to the living room.

"So, are you and boss done yet? I'm starting to get a little hungry, you know." - Horror

"We're almost done Horror, just a few more minutes. We can go to a restaurant after." - Error

"Oh thank god. That paper work doesn't seem like a easy job." - Dust

"And it's not an easy job. But we're doing it right now, so it's not a big deal. Plus, we need to spend time doing something here." - Nightmare

"Yeah yeah boss, can you just hurry up? I want to check out this multiverse. Looks super cool!" - Killer

"Ok, be patient." - Nightmare

~In the original multiverse~

The Star sanses sighed as they couldn't find any clues on how the 1000 copies got destroyed on the same time.

Blue knew that it was probably Fate who did it as they couldn't make a new destroyer out of thin air. But he couldn't say that to Ink as it would rise questions that he didn't want to answer.

Ink yelled in frustration as he stomped on the ground. 'This is so annoying, why isn't there any clues?'

"I know your angry that there isn't any clues, but we have to be patient Ink. We can't just make a machine that would just tell us who it is."
- Dream

"I know. I just don't understand, why can't I just create in peace? Why is there always someone who gets in the way. It's so frustrating!" - Ink

"Maybe there is something that we're missing, like an answer to an unanswered question." - Dream

"Yeah, maybe you're right." - Ink

"Guys, to calm us down, let's go to our base. We could eat something and then continue searching." - Blue

"I have a brilliant idea! We should find Nightmare's base! He was close to Error, correct? Maybe we would get some answers there?" - Dream

"That's a great idea! You're so smart Dream." - Ink

"But what about lunch?" - Blue

"We can have it later. Let's go! What would we search first?" - Ink

"Maybe Dreamtale? Me and Nightmare are from that AU."
- Dream

"Good idea! Let's go!" - Ink

Ink takes out his brush and paints a portal on the ground. He jumps through, Dream and Blue following him shortly after.

They get out of the portal, taking in the surroundings. They were standing on a hill, with a broken tree in the middle.

There was a nearby village, which was full of weird creatures Ink didn't know.

Near the village was a giant dark castle, surrounded by a couple of trees. Looks like they found Nightmare's base.

"Huh, I didn't know it would be this easy to find it. Looks like he really didn't bother to find another AU." - Ink

"Let's go inside, see if we can find any interesting things." - Dream

They walked through the AU, nearing Nightmare's castle. It was huge, having huge gray walls with windows that looked like they haven't been cleaned in a while.

It looked like no one was there. But where is Nightmare and his gang then? It looked like they dissapeared without a trace.

Blue was wondering why they would leave. Did they found the location of Error? Did they figure out that he was alive? Did they jump in the void too?

He had so many questions, but few answers. He would just have to find out. Maybe they left to go to Error. He hopes that he would find a way to get there, he misses them.

They entered the castle, being gree5er with a huge hallway with a lot of doors. This was gonna take a while.

~Timeskip~ (◞‸◟ㆀ)ˢᵒʳʳʸ
As they were searching, Dream opened a door that lead to a staircase going to the basement.

"Guys, I found the entrance to the basement. Should we go together in there? I feel like it's important." - Dream

"Yeah, let's go together." - Ink

They walked down the stairs until the reached a door. They opened it, only to see a lab.

"Woah, they have a lab? Why would they have that?" - Ink

Blue was wondering the same thing, knowing that this was a new room. He's been to the basement before, and it contained a lot of boxes.

He was about to walk around, but then he noticed a strange portal that was in the middle of the room.

"Uh, guys? I think I found their whereabouts." - Blue

Dream and Ink both went to Blue, looking at the portal he was staring at.

"Yeah, that's kind of weird. Should we go in?" - Dream

"I think we should, what else are we supposed to do. But if we enter, how are we going to get out?" - Ink

"I don't know, but I think it's worth a risk, don't you think?" - Blue

"Ok, let's go in the count of 3. 3, 2, 1, go!" - Ink

They all jumped into the portal, going into the abyss called Void. They swirled around until they saw the light that they were approaching. They reached the light and teleported into another multiverse.
