Mystic thinking
Mystic talking
Author speaking
Mystic slowly opened his eyes, not wanting to wake up from his dream. It was a really nice dream, something he didn't have in a very long time.
He stood up and headed to the bathroom, going to take a quick shower and brush his teeth.
When he was done, he went to his closet to dress up. Today was Saturday, so Mystic didn't have to go to school.
He planned on visiting Granny G since she said that she was busy so she couldn't visit him.
He went to his kitchen to make himself a quick breakfast before heading out. He ate a lot yesterday, so he wasn't that hungry. So he just took a chocolate bar and went outside.
Since Granny G was his neighbor, he didn't need to drive.
He rang the bell and waited. After a few minutes, Granny G opened the door.
"Hey Mystic, sorry I didn't visit you, I was busy."
"It's ok. But what were you busy with?"
"My daughter was going on a business trip, so I had to take care of my grandchildren."
"Oh, ok. So how have you been doing?"
"I've been doing fine. How about you? Is school going well?"
"Yeah, I made a few friends. I didn't fail any classes, as far as I know."
Mystic didn't know if he should tell Granny G about his powers. I mean, would she believe him? He doubts that she would believe him since magic disappeared a long time ago.
"Is something bothering you?"
"No- actually yes. But I don't know if you would believe me if I would tell you"
"If it's something serious, then tell me. I don't want something bothering you that much."
"Ok. Believe it or not, I have powers. I always go to an alleyway to teleport home. But yesterday, someone saw me. His name is Classic, he's my friend's brother. And I'm afraid that he would tell him that he saw me teleporting."
Granny G thought for a while. It was impossible to believe but he wouldn't lie about this. To think of it, Mystic never lied.
"Ok, I believe you. So the problem is very serious?"
"Yes. I don't want anyone to know this, but I think classic just shrugged it off. Is that a good sign?"
"Maybe. You never know. He might tell everybody, but they would probably not believe him since it's so hard to believe."
"True. Tho I'm still worried. I mean, won't people just think he's weird? I don't think it's comfortable hearing people say that you're weird."
"Ok. Keep an eye on him."
After the conversation, he went home. Granny G gave him some random advice he would need, she also gave him a giant jar of cookies. All of them containing chocolate.
He sat on his couch and turned on the news channel. He wanted to see what's happening, hoping that Classic wouldn't somehow be in the news.
While watching the news, he opened the cookie jar to eat cookies. When he bit into the cookie, he was immediately sent to heaven.
'THEY ARE SO GOOD!!!'
He ate a few more until he closed the cookie jar, wanting to save the cookies for later.
'Maybe I should go to the park. The last time I was in a park was a long time ago. Maybe it would calm me down'
He went to his closet to change his clothes and went back downstairs. He took a scarf and went outside.
It didn't take him long to reach the park since he sees it every day when he goes to school.
He put on his headphones, listening to the soothing sounds of rain. (I don't know if I spelled soothing correctly, sorry TwT)
It was quiet at the park because there weren't a lot of people in the park. It was really calm.
He sat on a bench, watching all the people walking past him. They looked so happy.
He didn't notice some of the people looking at him. He was too deep in thought.
A few minutes later he stood up to get some ice cream.
He looked around to find a place he could find some. He spotted an ice cream shop so he went in.
Everything smelled really good. He smelled various kinds of flavors.
After he paid for his ice cream, he went out. He bought chocolate ice cream because of his addiction to chocolate things.
The ice cream was one of the best things he ever tasted. He went back to the store and gave the cashier a tip.
He went back outside and headed home. He wanted to check if he finished all of his homework. You never know, he didn't want to fail.
He opened the door and looked around to find his bag. It was on the couch.
He looked in all of the books and didn't find any homework.
A sigh of relief escaped his lips. He didn't want to do homework, so he was really happy when he didn't have any.
He went to the kitchen and made himself some rice and meat. He was lazy, and this was one of the only things Granny G taught him to cook. Well, better than nothing.
