Percy
Percy was overjoyed. He had just gotten back from a quest given to him by Athena. The quest was given to him to prove he was worthy of Annabeth's hand in marriage.

Percy fiddled with the box in his pocket.

A mixed girl walked up to him.

"Follow me," she said.

Percy nodded, confused.

She lead Percy to the line of trees before the beach. Percy heard noises of pleasure coming from the shore.

"What you see will hurt you," the girl warned and walked off.

Percy nodded to himself and walked out from behind the trees.

What the girl said was true, it did hurt.

Percy saw none other than Annabeth Chase on top of Apollo.

"I can't believe you!" Percy screamed to Annabeth and Apollo alike.

"Percy!" Annabeth had grabbed her shirt and covered herself. "It's not what it looks like!"

"Yeah right!" Percy exclaimed. "I was gonna propose to you, but I guess you don't love me like I loved you!" He threw the ring box on the ground and stormed off the beach.

He ran out of the border and to his mom's apartment.

Percy hesitated at the door. He sighed, turned around, and walked away. He walked down the street and saw a happy couple. He smiled, just like he and Annabeth.

Percy's heart started to hurt. He looked at the ground and tears started forming in his eyes.

Percy walked to the Empire State Building, in the building, and to the front desk.

"I need the key to the 600th floor," Percy said.

"No such thing kid," the guy at the counter said without looking up from his newspaper.

Percy hit his fist on the desk, causing it to crack. "Gimme the key."

The guy nodded and shakily handed Percy the key.

He walked into the elevator and put in the key.

Athena

"Why did you call us here?" Apollo asked annoyed.

He was probably interrupted in the middle of an affair, Athena thought.

"Well, I wanted to say that Artemis, Athena, and Hestia, I'm taking away your oaths. You may date or have affairs," Zeus said.

Athena nearly fell out of her throne.

"But, father!" Artemis protested.

The room erupted in chaos. Everyone stood up and started arguing with one another.

Zeus hit his lightning bolt on the ground. "Silence!" Everyone sat down on their thrones.

"I will give you each one year to find your love. If you can not then I will restore your oath," Zeus said.

"But, what if that person they love is in love with someone else and it's my OTP?" Aphrodite asked.

"Then you can help them get their love," Zeus said.

"Percabeth!" Aphrodite wailed. "My perfect Percabeth!"

"Relax," Athena said. "'Percabeth' will be fine." Aphrodite continued to bawl her eyes out and wail, "Percabeth! My OTP!"

Athena rolled her eyes.

Then the door busted open.

Percy

Percy pushed open the doors of the Council Room open harder than he meant to.

Percy smiled sheepishly and walked in.

For some reason, Aphrodite was wailing, "My OTPs! Gone! All gone! Jiper, gone! Caleo, gone! Frazel, gone! Percabeth, gone! Solangelo, gone! All of them, gone!" She placed a hand over her heart.

"Why do you interfere with the council of the gods?" Zeus thundered. (pun intended)

"I have come to ask for you to kill me," Percy said.

Zeus stroked his beard thoughtfully.

Hera slapped his arm. "Are you actually considering it?"

"He asked," Zeus shrugged. Hera slapped her forehead.

"Son, why?" Poseidon asked.

"Yes," Athena added. " And what about Annabeth?"

Percy shrugged. "She cheated on me."

Athena stood up. "Lies!"

Percy sighed. "I, Perseus Jackson, swear on the River Styx that Annabeth Chase cheated on me."

Athena sat down looking like she had been punched in the gut.

Aphrodite was still crying over her 'perfect OTPs.' She started crying harder and mumbled, "Percabeth, my perfect OTP, gone."

Hera looked at Percy with sympathy.

Zeus looked at Poseidon and they had a silent argument.

"Fine!" Zeus said. "Perseus we can not kill you. We will give you a job until you are ready to go back to the mortal world."

Percy nodded. "What is it?"

"Tomorrow you will travel and protect the huntresses of Artemis," Zeus said.

"What?" screamed Artemis and Percy alike.

Zeus nodded. Hera hit her forehead with her hand again. Aphrodite continued crying and Athena glared daggers at Percy.

Apollo stood up and clapped. "Alrighty peeps! I have somewhere to be. Adiós."

"Hold up!" Percy said. Apollo sat down a scared look on his face.

Percy turned toward Zeus. "Lord Zeus, please have Annabeth Chase come here."

Zeus nodded, a concerned look on his face, and snapped.

Annabeth appeared with tears streaming down her face. It hurt Percy to even look at her.

Athena's face filled with rage. "I don't know how you were able to lie on the River Styx, but that does not look like somebody who has cheated!" Percy nodded at Athena to keep silent.

He pointed at Apollo who was looking at Annabeth with sadness in his eyes. And something else that overpowered the sadness, wanting.

It was very clear on Apollo's face that he wanted Annabeth. Artemis and Athena gasped.

Why Artemis gasped, Percy had no idea. But it didn't matter.

The Olympian Council was silent.

"Go on," Percy said. "Comfort your lover, or is it that you don't love her, you just want to use her."

Apollo had a guarded expression. He stood up and walked over to Annabeth.

Percy grinned as the gods gasped.

He spun around and asked Artemis, "Yellowstone Park?" She nodded and Percy left.

I'm not going to say this in every chapter, but the PJO and HoO characters belong to Rick Riordan.

My updates will be on Thursdays from here on out. (Unless I forget)
