CAMP JUPITER

Athena
Athena smiled as the Son of Poseidon and she walked along the streets of New Rome holding hands.

"So..." Percy trailed off awkwardly, "Now can you tell me about Camp Thunder?"

Athena shook her head, "Sorry."

"Please," Percy stopped and did what the camps called his "Baby Seal Face."

"Fine," Athena gave in, "But only because I don't want you to die."

"Thanks," Percy muttered.

"Let's go in here," Athena pointed at a café. The two walked into the small, mostly deserted café. The two slid into a booth.

"So..." Percy trailed off.

"Camp Thunder isn't a normal camp by mortal or immortal standards.

"It was a decision that was made after the second Titan War made by Hades-well, all the gods really, but Hades suggested it.

"The camp was designed for all of the Demigods that had died in the Titan War. Obviously, there are more campers now, since the war with Gaia.

"They all agreed before and if they didn't then they'd be dipped in the River Lethe. They had to change their names if anyone else came to the camp-that wasn't going to live there.

"Camp Thunder practically gave all of the Demigods that died in the ward a second chance at life," Athena said.

"So," Percy took a moment, "Which gods?"

"Greek and Roman," Athena said, "There are some there-like Kari for instance- who are Greek. Then there are some-like Benjamin, who you haven't met and I hope you never will-who are Roman."

"Who was-is-Kari?" Percy asked.

"That you will have to find out on your own," Athena smiled, "Now, I have a meeting with the Praetor." She stood up, "I'll see you later."

Athena left Percy at the café to do what he wanted to and left for the city.

"Hello," Reyna bowed respectfully. Athena shook her head, "Hey, Reyna. You wanted to talk about the lack of communication from the gods." Reyna nodded, "Yes, ma'am."

"Please don't," Athena said, "Calling me ma'am makes me feel old."

Reyna nodded, "Okay."

"Well... where to start..." Athena stared at the floor, "Well, one day the Olympian Council called a council meeting and Artemis didn't show up. Zeus said that she had been taken. We were discussing what to do when someone walked into the room and took Ares."

Reyna nodded, "How can we help?"

"Well, Ze- Jupiter has ordered for the seven to go on another quest," Athena said, "It would help if you could donate them some supplies."

Reyna nodded," Thank you, Lady Min- Athena."

Athena nodded and walked out of the room.

"Do I really have to go?" Percy wined.

"Because my father wants you to," Athena laughed. Percy frowned, "Right. Why does he want us to go again?"

"Because Artemis is missing," Athena said, "So you have to go. Now, get packed."

Percy sighed and walked around his cabin to collect his clothes.

"I'm gonna miss my cabin," Percy said, "and you, and my cabin."

Athena laughed.

"Don't laugh at me," Percy wined. Athena shook her head and stifled a laugh.

"I'm all packed," Percy said and held his backpack up.

"Honey," Athena said, "That bag's only halfway full." Percy shrugged, "So?"

Athena sighed and shook her head.

"Well, I gotta go to the Big House," Percy said. Athena nodded, "Bye."

Percy kissed Athena for the longest time he ever had-almost as if he didn't think he was going to come back.

"Bye," Percy smiled sadly at her and walked out of the cabin.
