LATE NIGHT VISIT
——————————

Percy
Artemis walked to her tent and spun around.

"Seriously?!"

"What?" Percy asked.

"You and Athena! I mean, really!" Artemis said obviously mad.

"We're just-"

"Just friends?!" Artemis yelled.

"Ummm..." Percy scratched the back of his neck.

"Why?" Artemis yelled.

"I didn't think I'd offend you. You're a man-hater," Percy said.

Artemis sighed and sat down on her bed.

"I told you that plenty of the female Olympians like you, I never said that I wasn't included in that list," Artemis whispered.

"Oh," was all Percy could say. Artemis sighed again and stood up. "It's time for bed."

Percy nodded and walked to his tent.

...

"Hey."

Percy jumped. "Who-"

He was interrupted by Athena placing her lips on his.

"Me," Athena whispered when she pulled away. Percy smiled. "Is it possible that I missed you?" Athena smiled.

"Yes, Kelp Head."

"I hate it when you call me that," Percy said. Athena laughed quietly. "Okay, so?"

"Please stop?" Athena laughed again. "Then what else can I call you?"

"Ummmmm, Percy?"

"A nickname," Athena said.

"Percy is my nickname," Percy said.

Athena sighed. "True."

Percy smiled evilly at Athena. Her smile disappeared. Percy grabbed Athena's waist and pulled her closer to him.

"What are you doing?" Athena asked, the fear very obvious in her voice and eyes.

"You'll see," Percy whispered in her ear. Athena giggled. Percy kissed her cheek and started kissing down her neck.

"Percy, Artemis is coming," Athena whispered. Percy sighed and let go of Athena. She shook her head and grabbed Percy's hand. They sat down on Percy's bed.

"Percy?" Artemis asked.

"In here," Percy said.

Artemis opened the tent's "door" and sighed softly. "I wanted to apologize for my behavior earlier." Percy nodded. "It's okay." Artemis nodded and left.

Athena
"What did she apologize for?" Athena asked.

"Her behavior earlier," Percy said.

"No, duh," Athena rolled her eyes. "What was her behavior?"

"Not important," Percy murmured. "Now, where were we? Before we were interrupted, I mean."

"Hmm, you were making me happy like you always do," Athena said.

"How was I making you happy?" Percy asked as he brushed his fingers up Athena's arm.

Athena shivered. "Umm, you were..."

"Hmm?" Percy asked and traced Athena's lips.

"I see," Percy said with a playful look in his eyes. "I make you forget." Athena shivered again.

"You cold?" Percy asked. Athena shook her head. "No." Percy nodded and picked up a blanket from his bed and placed it across her shoulders.

"I should probably go," Athena said as she stood up.

"Awww, you can't stand my beauty," Percy said. Athena laughed. "It's late. You should get some sleep..."

"Okay, but you'll come back tomorrow?"

"Yes," Athena said and rolled her eyes.

"Yes!" Percy started jumping up and down.

"Get some sleep," Athena said.

"Okay." Athena nodded and walked out after setting the blanket back on the bed.

...

"You and Jackson, huh?" Apollo asked as soon as Athena was on Olympus.

"You and my daughter, huh?" Athena snapped.

"Sheesh. Although I am so amazing, I don't see how she resisted for so long," Apollo said.

"What? You know what, never mind." Athena started walking away. Apollo pushed himself off of the wall and followed her.

"Is there going to be another 'mini you' running around anytime soon?" Athena asked.

"Not that I know of, and I'm kinda in charge of the oracles so... I would know," Apollo said.

"So, you broke Percy Jackson's heart just to run away?" Athena asked spinning around to stop. Apollo bumped into her. She started to fall backward, but Apollo caught her by her waist.

"Oh, come on," Apollo complained while lowering his grasp on Athena.

"Let go of me!" Athena yelled. Apollo ignored her and lightly stroked her face.

"Now, now..."

"Let go of me," Athena said in between her teeth. She had a decent scream and was preparing to use it when Apollo was ripped away from her.

"Who are you?" Apollo asked obviously offended that he was stopped.

"It doesn't matter. Athena is a goddess, not a toy or an object. She has no right to be treated like that," the man said. Athena thought she recognized the voice, but his face was hidden by Apollo's shadow. Apollo nodded and ran off.

Athena gasped, "Percy?" Percy nodded.

"How did-"

"Shhh," he put his pointer finger to her lips. "Let's just get you to your temple." Athena nodded still too stunned to move. Percy put his hands on her shoulders and gently pushed her forward.

When they were in her temple Percy started asking her question after question, but Athena was still too shocked about what her half-brother was about to do to her.

"Athena. Athena? Athena, are you okay? Athena, answer me!" Percy started shaking her shoulders softly.

"Yes. Yes, I'm okay," Athena said. "I'm just... tired." Percy nodded and walked her to her room.

"I'll be in the living room if you need me," Percy said. Athena nodded and Percy walked out.
