Chapter 5:

Abby and the T-Birds were back at the Zukos' household, the younger T-Birds wanted to stay at the Zukos' for a bit. Danny's mother, Diane Zuko was making some tea for Abby while Danny and his older brother, Derek Zuko, were sitting at the table listening to their father, Dylan Zuko talking to the social security service about Abby while Danny's sister-in-law and Derek's wife Anna Zuko and his nieces Ashley and Olivia, his nephews Archie and Oliver, along with Danny's younger brothers and sisters, Dallas, Destiny, Dalton, Daisy, Alexander, Angelica who are twins, and Fredrick Jr. cheering up Abby with the younger T-Birds smiling at the kids. "Mommy, how come Abby's daddy hits her?" Ashley asked.

Anna kissed her head.

"Because people are sick in the head, baby." Anna tells her.

"He's a total loser for hurting his beautiful daughter." Dallas says.

Putzie pats the back of his head.

"He sure is, kid!" Sonny agrees.

"We love Abby!" Daisy exclaimed.

They smiled at her.

"Thank you, Daisy." Abby spoke.

"You're welcome!" Daisy smiled.

"Is she gonna stay with us, Putzie?" Angelica asked.

Putzie chuckles at her.

"Forever." They looked over to see Danny and Derek walking in the living room. "Abby, dad called the social protection service and we made arrangements for mom and dad to adopt you." Derek adds.

Abby looks at Danny.

"Really?" She asks.

Danny nods.

"Yep!" He smiled. "You're gonna be our sister."

Destiny highfives Dallas and Dalton.

"Yay!" The youngest Zuko Siblings cheered.

"Yay!" Fredrick Jr. cheered.

They chuckled at him as Abby stood up and hugged Danny.

"Thank you so much!" she replied.

Danny smiled as he hugged her back.

"Anytime kid." Danny spoke.

Abby hugged Derek and Anna.

"I am so blessed." She smiled.

They awed at her as Dylan and Diane came into the living room.

"Here's your tea, dear." Diane smiled.

"Thank you, Mrs. Zuko." Abby said, taking the mug.

"It's not a problem." Diane told her.

"Abby, the court date will be the beginning of the week next month." Dylan explained. "But they said that it is alright for you to stay with us before the adoption is filled out."

Abby smiled.

"Thank you so much..." She smiled. "Mr. and Mrs. Zuko."

They smiled at her.

"It's no problem, dear." Diane smiled at her.

"And if you want, feel free to call us "Mom" and "Dad"." Dylan tells her. "If you're comfortable."

"Thanks, but I..." She starts.

"We understand, sweetheart." Diane smiled.

"We have a big sister, guys!" Dalton says to his younger siblings.

"Yay!" The youngest Zuko children cheered.

They chuckled and awed at them.
