TALIYAH'S POV

With a hammering feeling inside my head, I opened my eyes as fast as I could, but I didn't see anything. It was just darkness surrounding the room that I was in, not to mention the freezing ice cold wrapping my small frame was getting unbearable.

Suddenly, the door opened, causing a thud as it hit the concrete wall.

"Good, you're awake," Came from a man's voice as he stepped inside. I eyed him carefully, and since I wasn't tied down, I could just easily escape him. "If you want to stay alive follow as you are told."

"Chego ty khocheshʹ ot menya?" What do you want from me?.

The man smirked at me, amusement covering his face. "It's not you that I want, child. It is your mother," He replied followed be a humorless laugh.

"Why?" The informations I was getting wasn't surprising at all, but the question was keeping the conversation moving from one space to another.

Once again, the man walked further inside, inching closer to me, and before I knew it he was holding my face inbetween his hand, nails digging in my cheeks.

"There are things that you are not meant to know, but that's your mother's saying now, isn't it?" He tilted his head to the side, "But I say, why not find out the truth about you?" He wasn't offering at all, but I get curious easily, and when that curiosity door opens things happens...bad things.

"About me?" I asked, getting hooked on his games, although I waz aware which he knew by the look of his face.

He knows something about me, that isn't a bad thing, right? Nor a good thing. He maybe lying to me, but I only want him to think that I can cooperate easily, leading him to trust me more, I mean, how can a bad guy trust a kid? I don't exactly know, only one way to find out I guess.

"Are you telling me or not?" I looked at him and he releases his hold. He fixed his leather jacket and offered his hand which I accepted.

We walked out of the room, headed to a long and empty hallway. The floor beneath me was carpeted in red, the walls had different golden patterns as it continued down to a stairway.

"Where are we?" I asked him.

"You're standing in my mansion as we speak," He replied confidently with a smile. He was also simply dressed, yet it gives off the vibes of elegance and abundance.

Well, the said mansion was lack of paintings or pictures, it was also lack of a living thing, and most of all the lack of sound waa quite deafening.

"Don't you ever get lonely?" And again I asked. He staopped on his tracks, paised, and turned to look down at me.

As if he knew where the questions was coming from, he just arched an eyebrow.
"Shouldn't I be the one asking you thag question?" He retorted.

I rolled my eyes at him, "You don't know anything about me."

"Oh, but I do, I know morethan you know yourself," With a smirk on his face, I slapped him. Kicked his balls and run for my life.

He groaned, of course he did. I was doing fine with running but when I heard a gunshot I knew I fucked up.

NATASHA'S POV

"Shut up," Y/N was clearly annoyed as she looked out of the window as he talked to Clint on the phone. "Just give me the informations when you have them," She rolled her eyes, "I swear to god if I can just cut your mouth out of that freaking face, I would've done it a long time ago..." Her voice suddenly became a background as I stared at her and the only thing that I could think off was tackling her back to bed and kiss to lips that were moving as she treathened Clint to his very heart.

Closing my eyes, I laid back down on the bed, groaning as I did so, and then my mind drifted to Taliyah. She shouldn't be experiencing this things if only I had been by her side, she wouldn't be feeling alone if I didn't let them walk away that day, and maybe then things would be different and I'd be a good mother. She could've had a normal childhood that I was lack of but I guess being on the bad side of life runs in the blood of my family.

"Are you sleeping?" I heard the love of my life asked.

"No," I replied, opening my eyes to see her hovering ontop of me with a curious look.

"What are you thinking?" She asked again, as if she wasn't on top of me.

Taking in a deep breath, "Just things, why?" I answered slowly and she ahrugged.

"Things...?" She trailed off as she pulled away from hovering and quickly picked up the car keys and leather jacket. "Come on, I'm driving," She throws the jacket at me but I didn't move so she pulled my wrist and out of the motel. "Do you wanna see your father?" She asked, and looked at me before opening the door of the car.

I rolled my eyes to whatever she's talking about. "He's already dead, you killed him, remember?" I replied back and she scoffed.

"Just get in," She softly stated and I did.

With that, she was quiet the whole ride, she kept her eyes on the road, hands on the wheels, foot on the gas, nothing more, nothing less.

Clearing my throat, she side glanced me. "If I had been here with you and Taliyah, would things be different?" I asked, guilt evident in my tone.

"No," She simply answered, "To begin with, I was the one dragging people in danger with every dirty little secrets that I have in the past, which followed in our present." She stopped the car and look at me, "When all of this is finished and you want to...walk away and do nothing about me anymore or with Taliyah, I understand, I perfectly would."

Along the lines, it seemed as though she was talking through the bushes and not directly, but then again, she wasn't the type to throw the things at your face.

I furrowed my eyebrows at her as she begins to look away, but before that, I grabbed her face gently with my hands, "Hey, stop saying that, I won't go away for real this time," Shaking her head she pulled away from my grasps.

"Natasha, don't say that, just don't," She swallowed thickly, "I'm telling you now that you would walk away after all this, and trust me I know you would."

"Stop pushing me away," I whisper-shouted which took her aback.

"I'm not pushing you away, I'm just pointing out the truth," She rushed out.

"Well it seems like you do," I mumbled back.

"I'm not, but I know you would, it's a feeling, Natasha, which you can't make it go away becauae I'm feeling guilty about what I did and you won't like every single bit of it, so this is me confessing every lie and that I'm sorry."

Breathing out a heavy breath, I clenched my jaw. "Look, whatever you did, I prom--" Before I could finish my sentence she stopped me by pressing her index finger to my lips.

"Don't say it, please," She pleaded, "You won't be the only one that would suffer, and don't ever say a word ever again that you know I could hold on to until you are sure that you wouldn't do the opposite."

And I didn't say another word.
