YOUR POV
"Just tell me where she is and we'll be in our merry way!" I exlaimed a little too high pitched.
He scoffed. "Did you really think it's that easy?" The amusement on his face tells me that this isn't going to be easy.
"Yes," I answered truthfully, "What else do you want from me? I did everything that you asked me to—"
"Really?" He cuts me off. "Well, do enlighten me please, what the hell is Natasha doing here with you?" He wasn't really asking, he was being sarcastic and I hate it.
I rolled my eyes. "Natasha is not with me. She chose to come here — heck I didn't even have contact with her since last month." Explaining was no point at all to him but I tried anyway.
"You expect me to believe that?" He mused.
"Don," I paused, jaw clenching to what I called him. "Whether you believe or not, I am not going back to her, and I promise as soon as you give me Taliyah back you won't hear of us again, neither will Natasha."
"Ugh," He huffed. "I hate that you are being desperate," he commented and I scoffed.
"Well, you're making me desperate, but not as worse as your jealousy towards your sister," I retorted, now it's my time to mock him.
He glared at me. "Becareful with your words, Y/N."
I stepped closer to him. "Or what? Kill me?" I challenged, playfully grinning at him.
Clicking his tongue, he swiftly pulled out his gun, pin going off as he points it on my head.
"I won't even hesitate."We carefully glared at eachother before I spat, "You're insane!"
He chuckled ever so lightly, playfully pressing his gun to my cheek. "You did met me at the Asylum," He stated.
"I was just undercover for my father's wishes," I replied.
"Ah, of course," He raised both of his arms side by side, falling just after, still the gun on his hand. " You were watching me because your father said so," He softly exclaimed, "SHIELD wouldn't even believe that I was Natasha's brother."
I looked away from all his bullshit. "Move on with it. We were kids, Natasha was on a mission in Ohio, she didn't even know me back then so suck the hell up!"
"Agreed. But your father yet again set you up with her when she was recruited as a SHIELD agent. You people took her in, gave her a second chance, a new identity. And what did you do to me?" He moved his head, leveling with me until we were only a breath away. "Nothing! After your mission at the Asylum, Fury sent me away in a Russian prison — I was only fifteen years old!"
"Natasha was six!" I spat right on his face.
"How dare you compare me to her? SHIELD locked me up for nothing yet she got freedom after almost assassinating half of the world."
"It wasn't her choice!" I defended.
"What makes you think that I care?" He mocked.
I arched an eyebrow. "What now? You want revenge?"
"No, no," He brushes off. "That's what you want. You hunger for revenge for what I did to you thirteen years ago. That wasn't even a revenge, I was only returning a favor."
"A favor? It wasn't even my fault."
It took him a while to respond but that isn't because he doesn't know what to say, he does, it's just his way of amusing himself.
"But your father's fault. I know, but what can I say? It's apple for apple."
