New love (Reiner x reader)

June had begun and things were calming down. Finals were given out, and you had the whole month to just work on them and not worry about separate homework.

Which also meant you had a lot more time to spend with Reiner. Bertholdt involved himself with the ambassadors club now that you didn't need tutoring and he had the free time after school.

Which meant you Reiner and Bertholdt didn't hang out much as a trio anymore. Bertholdt also felt like a third wheel, so that's just another reason to find something else to do.

One good thing though, The ambassadors were selling pride bracelets during lunch periods. It made you happy your school was accepting.

You walked down at lunch, seeing a couple of people around the ambassadors table where they were handing out bracelets. At the front of the line was Ymir who was buying two lesbian flag coloured bracelets, one for herself and one for Historia you assumed.

"Hey (y/n), would you like one?" Bertholdt asked as you looked at the flag colours on different bracelets.

"Ummm... which one would I get?" You asked as Bertholdt smiled before looking through his cabinet, revealing a bracelet that wasn't on the table for sale.

"I made white ones with a rainbow heart for people who are unsure, unlabeled, prefer not to say, or are ally's. Here." He said as he handed you a pretty white bracelet with a rainbow coloured heart shaped gem.

"How much?" You asked as you pulled out your wallet.

"$7" he said as you got out a five dollar bill and 2 coins.

"Thanks." He said as he reached his hands out.

"Let me help you put it on." He said as you put your arm out, him wrapping the bracelet around your wrist and tying it together.

It made you happy Bertholdt was accepting and even doing this in the first place.

"Thanks Bertholdt!" You smiled at the boy as you waved, going into the cafeteria before finding Reiner and sitting next to him.

"Hey." You smiled as he looked at you.

"Hey. I bought Doritos again." He said as your eyes shined, looking towards his bag and back towards Reiner.

"Here." He got it and handed it to you.

"We can share it this time." You said opening the pack and taking a Dorito and placing the bag in front of you.

He took one and ate it as well.

"What other food do you like, or candy?" He asked.

"I like oatmeal cookies. You can never go wrong with those. I also like Chinese food. Italian food is good too. And Mexican food... OOH churros? I LOVE churros." You told Reiner as he smiled at your enthusiasm towards his question.

"What do you like on your churros?" He asked.

"Caramel. No chocolate. Well, nutella is kind of like chocolate but I don't like chocolate on it. I like Nutella and caramel. I also like it plain." You said as Reiner nodded, mentally taking notes.

"Why?" You asked, wondering why he was asking about churros.

"I can't ask my girlfriend about her favourite foods?" He asked as you nudged his shoulder.

"Fine. What's your favourite food?" You asked as Reiner shrugged.

"I don't have a favourite." He replied.

"Booriiinnngggg!" You teased.

"Fine. I probably like steak the most." He came to a conclusion as you now talked to him about steak.
