"Historia, I'll join the team." You said as you tugged on Sasha's arm.

"And so will she. Now you have enough members for a team." You said, knowing Sasha had to do this for you.

"Really?" Historia asked as you smiled with a nod.

"THANK YOU! (Y/N), SASHA. THANK YOU SO MUCH." Historia was extremely happy to know her plans of having a team this year would happen.

Though you and Reiner haven't really talked since New Years, you still wanted to keep your promise for a resolution.

"So when are practices?" You asked as Historia pulled her phone out.

"I'll send you a picture of the schedule. It's usually twice a week. I'll teach you the basics and we'll be fine." Historia assured the two of you as Sasha nodded.

You knew Reiner had gym fourth period, so you thought about dropping by and seeing him and the others.

Unlike last time where you skipped completely and got a call home, instead you'd ask the teacher to go to your locker and then go down to Reiner.

Historia told you they would also be getting you uniforms for cheerleading.

You wondered what Reiner would think when he saw you cheering for him during a game in a skirt and tiny shirt.

You wanted to keep it a surprise.

During second period, you knew you had to tell Bertholdt everything. From Naomi and Jeans relationships with you and Reiner to the moment where the two of you almost kissed. And Bertholdt was into every single second of it.

"We're going to get pizza after school. The three of us. No if ands or buts." He said as you nodded.

"I could go for pizza anyways." You replied, knowing even though it was kind of a set up, it wouldn't feel like one considering you liked pizza so much.

"You ask him. After school today." Bertholdt said, knowing you were going to do this on your own.

"I told you I haven't talked to him since that night. It'll be too awkward." You said as Bertholdt shook his head.

"Trust me when I say Reiner wants you to talk to him. He'll say yes." Bertholdt reminded you as you took a deep sigh.

"Fine."

During fourth period, you did just as you planned, and went into the gym where the boys were all practicing. The coach began not caring you were around, and found that the guys were always more energetic when you were there to watch them anyways.

So if anything, to the coach, it's beneficial for you to be there.

Reiner stopped practicing and wiped his face before walking up to you.

"Hey (y/n)," he said as you gave a small smile.

"You wanna get pizza with Bertholdt and I after school?" You asked as Reiner nodded.

"Yeah." He replied as Falco walked up to you to say hello.

Followed by all of the football team.

You knew you couldn't stay long, so you told the boys you had to go back to class.

"Meet me in the front parking lot. I'll find your car." You said as you left the gym, hearing a distant "ooooah?" From the rest of the boys.

You went back to class and finished it up, meeting both Reiner and Bertholdt by Reiners car.

"Hey Bert." Reiner greeted as Bertholdt raised his hand to say hi.

"Been a while since the three of us hung out." Bertholdt added as you nodded, sitting shotgun in Reiners car.

"Seriously?" Bertholdt complained, getting into the backseat and feeling like a child.

"Let's go Reiner." You said, Reiner getting in the drivers seat.

"Oh, Bertholdt, did you do the essay?" You asked as Bertholdt hid his face. You knew that meant he didn't do it.

"Listen. It's due at midnight. I've got this. I'll do it at 11pm. Trust me." He said as you giggled.

"I'll be in deep sleep when you're up stressing over an essay." You mocked Bertholdt as Reiner smiled and drove towards the nearest pizzeria.

"What kind of pizza do you like Reiner?" You asked as Reiner shrugged.

"Cheese, pepperoni, black olives. Basic stuff." He replied as Bertholdt budded in.

"Bacon pizza!" He exclaimed as both you and Reiner almost barfed inside your mouth.

Bacon... on pizza... that's an abomination.

"Alright it's decided we're getting a pepperoni pizza." You concluded.

Reiner was fine with that, but Bertholdt was a little salty.

You ate the pizza, and talked about whatever you felt like talking about. It was like Reiner and you didn't have a full week of not talking.

A week wasn't even that long.

"Alright I'm going home." Bertholdt said, basically leaving you and Reiner to go home together.

"Bye," you said confused at why he would leave. Either he had to leave or he just wanted you to get alone time with Reiner.

At least this was an opportunity to ask about the soon to have happened kiss that didn't actually happen.

But as he drove you home, you just couldn't. You were too embarrassed and couldn't come to bring yourself to do it without stuttering and looking like a fool.

Reiner noticed you weren't talking, so he turned on his music, and began singing along to relax you.

Reiner was a terrible singer, but his voice was so deep and calming that you didn't care how badly he was off key.

You arrived at your house as you got out of the car with an ashamed face. You didn't ask him about that night.

Maybe another time when you were alone you'd ask him.

"University and college where do you plan on going?" Mr. Ackerman made you stay after class.

You never did know where exactly you wanted to be. When you were younger, you always had these big dreams of going to university and becoming a doctor or something that made big bucks, but now that the time for decision making was here, you had no idea what was the right option.

"(Y/n), you have the grades. With a little more effort, you're sure to get into at least one college or university." He reminded you as you were kind of frustrated.

"I try my best in everything I hand in. But it's never good enough." You said, knowing Mr. Ackerman was one of the only teachers that was realistic when talking with his students. He didn't create false expectations and bring up the hopes of others. He said things straight.

"Then you're going to have to do better. Stay after class on Wednesday and get a tutor." He suggested. You didn't want to pay a guy for him to teach the exact same thing as Mr Ackerman taught you.

You didn't want to stay after school anyways. You had to get home and cook dinner for your mother.

You didn't have the energy to improve.

And just as school was stressing you out, now you had to worry about cheer.
