▪Dean's POV▪
The ghost was dead. The job was finished. Sam and I would have to move on. We wanted Blake to come with us, but she wanted to stay.
"What use am I out there? I would just cause you guys even more trouble!" She argued. We were standing outside of her house. Sam had already packed everything up.
The only thing left to do was to say goodbye.
"Come on, Blake. You would be a great hunter!" I tried. She just scoffed and turned her head. I caught a hint of a smile on her face.
She looked so pretty when she smiles. She doesn't do it enough. None of us do. I would have told her that, but Sam was standing beside me. I promised him I wouldn't try anything.
"Keep telling yourself that." She said. She let herself smile. She seemed happy for once.
She walked over and gave me a tight hug. When I let her go, she did the same to Sam. She was sad that we had to go, but was happy that we got to see each other again.
In an instance, it all changed. She looked around frantically, and then started walking towards her house. She looked terrified.
"Uh...I got to go. Good luck out there!" She shouted as she got to the door. I looked at Sam, and we followed her inside.
She walked over to her dresser and pulled out a locket. She didn't know we were there. She opened it up, and began speaking into it. She spoke in a different language.
"Sam, what is she saying?" I whispered to him. He shrugged, and we continued to watch her.
She said a few more things before closing it. She turned around, and when she saw us, she jumped.
"I thought you guys left." She said as she hid the locket behind her back. Sam and I exchanged questioning glances, and then walked over to her.
"What were you saying into that locket?" Sam asked her. She backed up into the wall and looked down.
"Blake..." I said, making sure I had warning in my voice. She looked up, and bit her lip. She was trying to decide whether or not to tell us.
"I was talking to an old friend. An old demon friend. He said that Lucifer escaped."
▪Sam's POV▪
Blake came with us to help figure this out. We went back to the Men of Letters bunker. It had been a few days, and we couldn't find anything. It was early in the morning and Dean was still sleeping.
Blake and I were sitting around the table. She was eating cereal as she read through multiple books. We still couldn't find anything about how Lucifer got free or how we could put him back.
While she was doing that, I was looking through a few books on my own. I was looking for a way to find him. If we could find him, we would have a better chance at sending him back to Hell.
I flipped a page but stop. I flipped it back and looked at the fold of the book. The page that used to be here had been torn out. Two words were still visible at the top.
The cage.
The page had been about the cage. Might have contained the information we were looking for. Might have the answers to our questions. I closed the book and showed it to Blake.
"You look through this one yet?" I asked her. I know I shouldn't be suspicious, but she was the only one looking through these books besides me.
She looked up, shook her head, and continued reading. I can't say I believed her. Then again, she didn't look like she was lieing.
"Wait, I think I've found something." She said, dragging the book over to me. While doing so, she knocked over the can of paint we had. I had left it there from when we were making traps. The black paint went all over the page of the book. It was eligible.
"Whoops." She said as she lifted the page. I sighed and went to grab something to clean it up. I passed by Dean on the way to the kitchen. He looked very mad.
I heard as he slammed something metal sounding on the table. I heard him yell at Blake, but could only make out the first sentence.
"You have some explaining to do, because I know Sam didn't use it!"
I hurried back over to them. Just Dean saying that did not sound good. As soon as I walked in, I saw Blake looking at her hands with a metal container right in front of her. It was covered in symbols. Most of them were Enochian.
There is only one thing that could have been in there.
"Dean? Is it-" I started to asked. I didn't even get to finish before he interrupted me.
"Empty." He didn't once look away from Blake. There was a mix of anger and confusion in his eyes.
"So there's no Angel Grace in there. So what?" She said as she stood up.
"Hold up. I know for a fact Dean and I didn't touch it. What did you do with it?" I asked looking at her. She just looked around and avoided our eyes.
"I gave it to an angel." She said. She began walking out of the room but stopped. She starting mumbling to herself. Then, her hair went blue. Aisling took control.
She turned around and walked over to us. No, more like skipped. Aisling was always very perky. Blakew had told us that she was only capable of feeling happy or sad. She was always happy.
There was one thing I couldn't undetstand. She said she gave the grace to an angel. The only angel near us is Cas.
"Are you saying...Cas?" Dean asked as she spun around in circles. She stopped, looked at Dean, and laughed.
"No, silly! We gave it to...wait, they are telling me not to say his name. Sorry!" She said in between giggles.
It didn't make sense. Castiel was the only angel near us. Why doesn't she want us to know? What has she been doing?
Aisling pouted before turning back into Blake.
"Who did you give it to?" I asked her. She walked over to the door of the bunker, opened it, and shouted at us before turning and leaving.
"That's for me to know, and you to never find out!"
