Dream POV
"That person was Nightmare" I said softly not looking up at the others. A snort of disbelief came from Quackity's direction and I flinched a bit.
"Who the hell is Nightmare?" Quackity scoffs letting out a small laugh as he saw me flinch. I looked out the window before I stood up heading to the door.
"Follow me" I said quietly before I went out of the room heading down the hall. The sound of footsteps told me that the others were following me. With a soft sigh I opened a room revealing a huge library. As soon as I turned to look at the others I noticed they were looking around in shock.
"How many books do you have?!" Karl asked excitedly causing me to let out a soft laugh
"I'm a god Karl. I've been around a long time" I smile at the brunet before my face goes serious. "You're wondering who Nightmare is correct?" I asked them.
"That would be correct mate" Philza responded to which I gave a small nod of acknowledgement. I looked around before I noticed the book I needed on the top shelf out of reach. A soft sigh came from me as I looked at the book in defeat
"What's wrong dream?" I hear Sapnap ask to which I turned and looked at him.
"The book I need is up on the top shelf and the only way to get up there is to fly" I said softly. The others looked at me before they scoffed and Philza shook his head saying he wasn't gonna fly up there and a soft sigh came from me "hang on one moment" I walked off around the corner of the bookshelf disappearing leaving them confused. Quackity went to follow me and Sam held him back.
"Sam, what the fuck" Quackity glared up at the creeper hybrid "we shouldn't let him out of our sight. he coul-" he cut off as I landed in front of them in my god form tilting my head as I was holding a book.
"I could what Quackity?" I asked softly giving him a soft glare before I turned walking over to the table and placing the book down. Soft footsteps told me that they had followed me. Without looking up I started to explain to them.
Sapnap POV
I looked at Dream in surprise. This is the first time we've seen his form up close. I will say it makes him look softer then what we've seen. Almost fragile even. We followed him over to the table and looked at the book in interest.
"This book holds all the entities on this server" Dream says softly causing us all to flinch not expecting it. Dream let out a soft laugh at that "I'm not gonna hurt you guys. That's not what I do" he smiled at us. I could feel myself relaxing from that. I've never noticed before but he has a calming aura around him. As Dream continued explaining about the book I listened quietly to him loving the sound of his voice.
"This isn't answering our question Dream" Quackity interrupted him making him flinch. I glared at Quackity only causing him to roll his eyes "oh fuck off Sapnap. I know you want the answer as to who is Nightmare just as much as I do" he scoffed.
"Nightmare is the opposite of me" I hear Dream reply quietly and I looked to him in surprise.
"He's what?" I asked in shock. Dream looked at me before he looked to the others.
"Nightmare is the opposite of me. We're twins" he said softly. I could tell we all were surprised at this. "I'm the god of Harmony and Balance. Nightmare is the god of Chaos and War" we looked at him in shock and he looked away.
"So let me get this straight" Tubbo spoke up "You have a twin which is the opposite of you. Your both gods, and he apparently can take your appearance" he listed off to which Dream nodded.
"That is correct. But Nightmare isn't my only sibling" he said softly to which almost everyone shouted in surprise and wanted to know who was his family. Dream went quiet and looked out the window nearby not wanting to answer.
"We would appreciate if you didn't yell at our younger brother" a voice came from behind us making us all turn to see a group of people standing behind us and one person we totally didn't expect to see.....
who are these people who just appeared? will the SMP members believe Dream? Or will they turn their backs on him yet again? We will have to wait until the next chapter to find out. Until next time dear readers.....and remember
