I'm Here...

"Thanatos?!" I shout in shock.

"Zagreus?" He said looking over his shoulder in disbelief.

I put the papers on the table and ran out of the room. I was not ready to talk to him not now...

"Zagreus! Wait!" I hear Thanatos shout from behind me. 

I ran. I didn't dare to look back. I didn't know where I was going I just went wherever my legs took me. I'm not ready to talk to him. I haven't seen him in three years. Why now?

I ran out of the building and found myself in front of my dorm. I go to grab my keys out of my bag but to my surprise, I didn't have my bag with me. Damn it, I must have left it in the orchestra room. I don't even have my phone on me to call Dionysus or Artemis to get it for me. 

I walked back hoping that I wouldn't run into Thanatos. I missed him but I don't know what to say to him. It didn't help that I ran away. 

"Hey cuz! What are you up to?" Hermes calls out as he runs up to me interrupting my thoughts.

"I forgot my bag in the orchestra room," I say as I scratch the back of my neck.

"You know boss I saw you running earlier, and I was like wow he is a fast runner I wonder what made him run so fast?" He pauses to breathe," You should do track too! It would be a lot of fun!"

"I don't think Dionysus could handle that he's still getting over you leaving," I laugh. I avoided his question as to why I was running. 

I walk into the now quiet room to get the bag I had left. Hermes walked with me to the dorm that we share.

"What should we have for dinner tonight?" He says as he unlocks the door. 

I sigh as I take my shoe off as I walk in. I go into my room and drop my bag at the foot of the bed and get ready for work. 

"Go and eat without me I have a long shift and I got to leave in a few minutes," I shout from my room.
