I walked out of my room into the dorm living area and joined Hermes in making breakfast.
The dorm is big there is the living area that has a small kitchen, a laundry closet, and a tv with couches and some side tables. Then some doors lead into a bedroom with a small bathroom. There are 4 bedrooms in a dorm. Hermes, Dionysus, Aphrodite, and I live in this dorm.
Aphrodite walks out of her room her eyes glued to her phone. She was smiling at it she was probably texting Ares. I think she really likes him since she is taking it slow.
My phone rings on the counter, "Dionysus who is it?" I ask washing my dirty hands.
"It's Nyx," He replies.
I take my phone and walk into my room and answer.
"How are you doing, child?" Nyx says
"Good, been a while since we last talked,"
"Yes, indeed. The morgue has been busy lately. It's hard for your father to keep up with it all since Thanatos and Megaera have been busy with school." Nyx continues talking as I zone out.
My father is a workaholic. He was always working, Achilles was more of a father to me than Hades ever was.
"Well I got to go now, Goodbye," Nyx says.
"Goodbye," I say with a bit of distance in my voice.
I don't think Nyx told Thanatos anymore than that I left. She and Achilles encouraged I to leave as soon as possible since they saw how miserable I was at home. Nyx got me in contact with my extended family that I didn't know I had since Hades hated them.
I left so fast that I didn't have a chance to say goodbye to any of my friends. They always knew I wanted to get away from my father and find my mom but they probably didn't expect me to leave the night after high school graduation. I even bought a new phone so Hades couldn't track me.
I always felt like I was suffocating at home. I was a disappointment in his eyes.
