Ch-4 Tempting flexing veins

Few minutes back, I was worried about my safety from him and now I am worried about his safety from me. Know why?

Well even if your answer is no, I am still going to say it. Out of habit, I guess.

So, remember me saying, me having a thing for flexing veins? The thing is, I've done with every test, it's just blood sample left now which I have to take from those same tempting flexing veins but the problem is my hands are shaking whenever I move close to him with the injection in those same shaking hands and they are not just shaking, they are terribly shaking, like really.

Now it's making me embarrass in front of the wall guy. What he must be thinking about me, that what kind of surgeon I am who couldn't even take blood sample. But trust me this is happening with me for the first time, I can swear on the satisfaction I get after I move into my soft PJ's from those tight jeans.

"You know how to take blood sample, right?" His voice startled me. It made me look away from his sexy tempting veins to his face and I regret it immediately as our faces are just few inches away from each other. I realize this guy is too handsome for politician with sexy body and handsome face.

Perfect jaw line under his thick black beard, his pitch dark deep eyes and cherry on the top is those tempting flexing veins. I know I am talking too much about his veins but I can't help it. I find them more attractive maybe because I read about them half of my life but I assure you they are worth watching.

I blink my eyes when he snap his fingers in front of me. "I don't know about you but I definitely don't have the whole day for this. So you better complete this instead of gawking at me." He bluntly said and I look at him with open mouth. How dare he?

'Now this whole universe will witness how a female surgeon open the skull of an arrogant jerk with just an injection.' I notice the evil smirk on the face of devil on my left shoulder.

'No Mayra, you not going to do that. This is so evil and wrong.' The angel on my right shoulder.

'Dude don't listen to this loser, listen to me. This jerk dare to insult us, he needed to be punished. Go ahead and open his skull.' The devil said.

'Open his skull.' The angel tried to mimic devil but failed miserably. 'You are saying this so casually. You know what will be consequences she will face after that. Stupid.' The angel added.

'How dare you, bitch.' The devil from my left shoulder shouted while aiming her Trident on angel.

'Devil, don't curse. I have to sprinkle holy water now, like always.' After saying that angel took the holy water, I don't know from where but it made me and devil roll our eyes.

"Are you doing this intentionally?" The third voice interrupted the conversation of devil and angel. "What?" I ask the wall guy in confusion. "Are you wasting my time intentionally? Or are you crazy? You're looking here and there instead of completing your work." Reyansh snap. Why he is so rude?

"Excuse me?" Next thing he did made my, devil and angel's eyes almost popped out in shock. He grab my hand and almost stab the injection in his hand.

Surprisingly he stabbed it on the right place. "Close your mouth otherwise flies will misunderstood it as their house." Reyansh said and realize my mouth is open. I immediately close it. This guy is impossible.

Today is one of the most hectic day I ever had. First I had done two back to back long surgeries and after that argument and apology thing with that politician but finally it's over. I sigh in relif when saw my apartment's building. It feels like, I am returning to my home after so many days but it was just yesterday night left from here.

After parking my car in basement parking of the building, I grab my hand bag and all the stuffs from the back seat. I reach to the elevator, after pressing the button I waited for it come.

After few seconds elevator door open with ding sound. I step inside the elevator and press the 18th floor button. The doors open again at my floor and I step outside the elevator. After reaching in front of my apartment door, I punch the passcode and open the door.

"I'm home." I announce to the empty apartment. I move inside my room, after picking up my PJ's from my closet I step inside the bathroom. After taking a quick hot shower and wearing my soft and comfortable night suit, I come back to my room.

"Oh my darling, here I come." I dramatically said to my bed and fall on it with a thud. Very soon fall asleep.

I woke up in the evening and barely slept 4 hours. I know it's very less time but then I don't have night duty today, so I have the whole night to sleep.

My stomach growl asking for food which I didn't have after yesterday's dinner. After making the messy bun of nest like hair, I am sure I must be having bags under my eyes. I grab my phone to order something online. I am too lazy and tired to cook anything right now.

I turn on the mobile data and so many notifications popped up but one notification caught my attention. The corner of lips lifted upward automatically as read the message.

Super Cool Meera:- Don't order anything, I've already made food for you. And I have a surprise for you. Come fast >3 ;)

As I read the word surprise, I hurriedly remove the comforter and next second I know I was already out of my apartment in my night suit only. Right now I don't care about my looks. I just wanted to see my surprise and have my food prepared by my sister's maid.

Well technically we don't have any blood relation but she is more than any blood relationship to me. She always took care of me like her own child and to me she is my elder sister. She is basically my mom's best friend's daughter whom I call my second mother. After my mom's death Prachi aunty took care of me and whatever I am today, she have big contribution in that.

I press the 15 floor button in elevator. Yeah we live in the same building. Elevator door open and I step outside of it. I press the door bell of her apartment in which she live with her family. After few seconds the door flung open. She scan me from top to bottom with raised brows.

"Zombie, is that you?" Meera said while lacing with sarcasm which made me roll my eyes. "Yeah and this zombie have a thing for pregnant women. So before I eat you, I want food and my surprise. " I said while stepping inside the apartment.

"Yeah, right. Your surprise." She nodded. "Baby look, who is home?" She shouted to the empty living room. "She's here?" I exclaimed excitedly, when I heard foot steps approaching to living room furiously.

"MJ" I heard her shouting as she run in my direction. I bend on my knees to come to my 7 years old niece, Aavya. I chuckle when she almost jump on me. "I missed you so much, my little munchkin." I said while hugging her tightly with the constant smile on my face.
