"You let her go like that. Then I am expecting you to have some solid plan to bring her back." Harsh said, while sitting beside me on of the bench of the public garden. I took one more drag of my cigarette while to him and white smoke left out of my mouth when I parted my lips slightly.
"No, I don't have any plan." I replied to him honestly and shook my head slightly. I can feel his eyes on after hearing my replied.
"Are you serious?" He asked in complete disbelief. "Am I in the situation of cracking any kind joke to you right now?" I question him before taking another drag of the cigarette and turn to look at him. How strange it is! She was the reason I reduced the consumption of cigarette and now I am doing it, while missing her and she is the reason ot it too.
"You shouldn't have let her go, Rey." Harsh said with serious expression, concern was clearly visible on his face. Even he also know, if she is gone now like that, it will so damn difficult to bring her back or may be impossible too.
"I had no option left other than that." I said with a helpless sigh. I never felt this helpless. It feels like she took away something from me and now it's very painful to live without that thing.
"I saw her. The look in her eyes was saying, if I will stop her anyhow at this time; I will loose her for forever. And I can't afford to loose her." I added.
"Sometimes you have to let go them, instead of holding them back. I want to give her space for few hours or days maybe. Until, then we will deal with some other problems." I said before taking the last drag of my cigarette and after dousing it, I disposed it in near by dustbin. The dustbin remind me of someone, if the situation would have been normal, I must been laughing right now while remembering that basement incident.
"What 'some other problems' are you talking about?" Harsh ask with raised eyebrows. I stood up from my seat with hands in my pockets and walk to the railing, which is near that bench.
"Arrange a meeting with Kritika. It's the best time to finally meet her." I replied while looking in the direction of artificial pond in the garden. Next time when the situation will become normal between me and doctor, I'll bring her here for our date. It's a nice and quiet place.
