Closer

It was Chorong's birthday.She was waiting and anticipating that at least one of her family members will visit her but it's already 11 PM.As time goes by her hope fade away.She cover herself with her blanket and cried.

She feel someone tap her shoulder.She stop crying and took off the cover that was covering her.She was shock to see him,she didn't really expect that he will come.

"Jo..Joon Myeon-ssi." Chorong said in a crack voice. "What are you doing here?"

"Sorry if I'm late but anyway your birthday is not done yet." Suho said pointing at the clock that read 11:50 PM."Don't worry maybe they're just busy.Maybe tomorrow when you wake up they will be here."

"Maybe,Maybe! I always hear that word.Maybe you will get discharge this week.Maybe you can go join sport next month.Maybe they're just busy.I don't want to hear that word anymore! I don't want to have a false hope anymore!" Chorong angrily said.Tears are forming at her eyes.

Suho feel sorry for her.He was going to hug her but Chorong push him away. "Chorong-ah I'm sorry.I was looking for a job and place to stay so I came late.Happy Birthday." Suho try greet her as happy as possible but his sadness can't be hide.He stand up from his chair and put the box that he was holding next to Chorong. "I hope you like it.I will come back tomorrow."

"Sorry I was being too emotional.You don't need to feel sorry,I didn't even expect you to come but you did so I'm thankful...See you tomorrow." Chorong said as she wipe her tears from her face.

Suho look at her and smile "Chorong-ah don't cry alone,your a strong girl and I knew that." He said then left the room.

Chorong look at the box Suho left.She open it and was really surprise.It was a necklace that has a wing pendant on it.She flip the pendant over and saw that something was carve on it."Your My Heaven." She read.

Chorong's P.O.V.
I'm really thankful that Joon Myeon came.I should not have shout at him.The necklace that he bought for me was really beautiful and the words that carve on it makes me feel warm and love.

How could Joon Myeon remember my birthday when I just met him yesterday while my own family who I spent years with never came here? Maybe I'm really not important to them.They must have really wish that I didn't exist or maybe for them I really don't exist.Here's the maybe word again.

I put the necklace back to the box and put it on the table next on my bed.I lay down and close my eyes.Well,I'm looking forward on seeing you tomorrow Joon Myeon.

Suho's P.O.V.
I look at my watch and it's 12 PM.Since I can't stay at the hospital today where should I go?I don't have any money yet. ~Sigh~

"Suho!" I turn around when I hear someone call my name and saw D.O. smiling brightly at me.

"D.O. why are you here?" I ask him.He walk closer to me and hand me a key.I took it."What's this?" I ask.

"It's a house key." He said then he hold my shoulder.In a blink of an eye I was standing in front of a house.It's not big but not small either.

"Who's house is this?" I ask as I put the key and open the door.

"It's Donghae's house.I'm letting you stay in but don't ever go inside the room on the left corner." He said pointing on a door.

I open the light and saw that the door he's pointing has an angel carve on it.I was curious but I shouldn't open it.

"Your curious right? No matter how curious you are don't open that door." he said with a strict voice.I just nodded my head and went inside the house.

D.O. know something and I can feel it.Does he know about my past too? Should I ask him?

Before he left I call his name "D.O.!" He look at me. "Do you know something that I don't?" D.O. ignore my question and just disappear.

I look around the house and find a picture of a girl.I lift the picture and observe it.This girl look familiar.Have I seen her somewhere before?

"Suho what are you doing?" D.O. snatch the picture from my hand. "Don't look at this." He said then took all the picture that was in the house.This house is Donghae's house then that girl should be Jessica.

"Don't think too much about Jessica and Donghae.Their story didn't end up well." D.O. told me then disappear again.

Chorong's P.O.V.
I soon as I open my eyes I saw Joon Myeon looking at me. "Good morning~" he said with a bright smile.

I sat up "Good morning." I greeted back and took the small box from my table. "Joon Myeon-ssi thank you!This necklace is really beautiful." I smile.

He was about to talk but the door open. "Who are you and what are you doing here?!" Mom came in and angrily ask Joon Myeon.

I can't believe her.She should be happy for me that when she's not here for me someone was here.Joon Myeon was a person who is like an angel.

"Get!" She yell.Joon Myeon was startle,he look at me and I nodded at him. "Take care Chorong-ah." he said. "I'll come back later." He mouthed so my mom won't hear.He bow at my mom before leaving.

"Who is that?" My mom ask with a straight face.I was scared."I told you not to let strangers in!"

"He's not a stranger.He's Joon Myeon my classmate.He care for me more than you,he's closer to reach more than you,He's here when I need someone while on the other hand your not." I scream while tears filled my eyes.

"Stop this drama Chorong! You don't understand!" She raise her voice.

"I understand it all.I'm not important,everyone turn their back on me and wish that I didn't exist!" I cried.

"You never try to understand us Chorong! Do you know that I really want to come here but I was so busy trying to earn all the money that we need for your medicine,hospital bills and Chanyeol's tuition fee! Your brother Chanyeol came here late at night last night you,were sleeping and so he didn't want to bother you.He was busy working while going to school Chorong,but he still find the time to visit you even though you were sleeping." mom said then left the room.

I cried.It hit me really hard.I was only thinking about myself and not those people who were always here for me even though they can't visit everyday.Can I be more closer to my mom now?
