I'm driving to my parents house to pick up some papers for the office when I see Blair basically trying to sneak out and start walking so I stop and roll down my window
"Uh Blair want to explain to me where you are going walking?" I ask
"I'm going out clearly Henrie!" she says
"I can see that but why not take one of the cars" I ask
"Yeah no thanks so once I turn it on and the rents realize it's me they'll watch me go all the way to my destination to only have them snatch me out or bitch all day" she says
"If you don't want them to know that means you're going to Kleo house huh" I say
"If you must know yes his wife is officially a lawyer and they're having a party/barbecue so yeah can I go now I don't want to be late" she says with attitude
"I'll take you get in?" I say
"Um what's going to be your excuse this time of why you can't go? when you are literally dropping me off infront of their house!" she says
"I don't make excuses to our brother Blair I was actually busy all those times and there is not excuse because I will also be attending" I say
"Really you haven't been over since Rome was 4 and now he is 8 and are you sure you do know there will be black people there" she says
"What the hell I'm not racist Blair the hell our nephew is half black and our sister in law is also black" I say
"Please that's what most racist people say because they have 1 black friend you pull you're not racist card look at your world Henrie they are the only black people you associate with because they are related to us no one else in your life is a person of color. you're not as bad as mom and dad disnowning Kleo and his wife family and grandchildren at that but you are not in the clear" she tells me
"I need you to stop saying crap like that I'm not like mom and dad isn't like that okay if I was I wouldn't be going to see Kleo today now lead the way" I say and turn up the radio
We pull up to Kleo house and he moved so this is my first time in the house and it's beautiful I really wasn't expecting this

"No I've never been here before so I'm just looking it's nice" I say
"Sure you are maybe if you kept in contact and not been so flaky you'd have seen it before" she says

"I don't I think you are bad, stupid mostly and some of your tendencies are stupid but I think our parents are bad people" she says
"Our parents have done alot for us and the community Blair" I say
"Sure but all the bankhanded things they say and let's not forget their happiness that our schools never accepted scholarships because it helped keep out certain types of people we both know what that meant and look at all the corporations dad owns people of color aren't in certain levels if you haven't noticed" I say
"Let's go inside and not keep this conversation going" I say
We walk up to the door and Kleo opens he looks good and happy I can say I saw Blair text him she's here and then I see his wife Camille

"Its good to be here I'm glad I wasn't busy today" I say towards them
"I'm sure 4 years of busyness can keep you away brother" Kleo says
"Camille why don't you show me where my nephew is and the. Delicious food I'm starving let the boys talk" Blair says and I get upset that Blair is setting this up
"Hostility I sense here brother" I say
"Why did you come Henrie you don't show up for 4 years and today out of the blue.... I mean don't get me wrong I missed you and it hurt to have my brother avoid me but I don't need judgment or to be snooped on" he says
"I'm sorry okay you are right I've been a bad brother but I really wanted to come I swear I just want to be here for you and your family I promise" I tell him
"Fine well welcome um I hope you are doing good how's work?" he ask
"Its not bad same old the most annoying thing is having mom trying to set me up to get married she just can't stand I'm single so I fight them everyday" I say
"Yeah I remember those days no fun I'm glad I got out but it may work out for you" he says
"What do you mean?" I ask him
"Henrie you like mom and dads rules you like that corporate law/ Ceo shit so it works you'll meet the perfect blonde and live happily ever after" he says
"Kleo do you ever regret leaving and your relationship with mom and dad going down the drain" I say
"No I fell in love and they choose to drop me because of who I choose to love so that's their fault and I don't want them in my life I'm proud I became a pediatrician and a neurosurgeon without them or any of their money and time while having a pregnant wife when they kicked me out for me choosing to claim my son" he says
"I understand now show me around your place I'm proud of you and happy I'm here I missed you and I'm sorry I was an idiot" I say
